RiverCity Gothenburg

RiverCity Gothenburg is the largest urban development programme in Scandinavia. Over the next few decades, development is planned over buildable land spanning five million m2 on either side of the river.
The vision’s three strategies - Connect the city, Embrace the water and Reinforce the centre - envisage an inclusive, green and dynamic Gothenburg where the city centre extends across the river, people come closer to the water and development boosts the entire region.

Sometimes it is, but at the moment this will be the right decision because more jobs are created in the city and more homes are built. The city will be bigger and more compact for sure which is a good thing. You have no idea how annoying it is to travel around the city just to go to that store. The city will enjoy a much bigger revenue too
