Battery issue have a simple solution if you dont want to purchase head strap with battery built in....buy yourself a 2 compact 10000mah power bank and velcro it on your head strap, and switch it when one runs out.....or get a 20000mah powerbank and put it in your pocket....I have the Quest 3 for under 2 months now and loving it
Better yet, they have belts with batteries in them. The less weight on your head the better the experience. I use the original strap with an accessory that cups the back of your head and a facial interface upgrade. I could wear it all day.

I use the Meta Quest 3 mostly with Steam Link VR. That has made it top notch for me, the wireless is pure freedom, no cables. But it has been an expensive journey, you need a super fast gaming router with additional super fast networking setups in your pc to pull it off. If you go entirely wireless, like your pc and your Quest, then you need a router that supports 2 x 5ghz Wifi 6, that's important for high speed communication to all links. I did it, and it's absolutely the best VR Experience I've ever had.
For a few people there is no comparison with market. They want to go in vr and don‘t have much money… If you didn‘t recognize: the video is translated by an AI. I‘m not sure how precise the translation is in this case. For myself I wouldn‘t call this price tag „exorbitant“ (in german)
@@ZockStubeVREnglish I had no idea it was AI translated but that makes sense.. I guess it's only expensive when compared to its predecessor, but when you put it next to the vision pro, it's a bargain
I wish the hand tracking was a little better. Its not exactly bad, but I expected a bit more of an improvement. It some ways I wonder if the Quest 2's ring bound controllers actually tracked better, but that could just be my imagination as I was expecting it to be be better. To be clear, its not bad at all, I just the one complaint I really have as otherwise I am loving the Quest 3 and think its a great upgrade from the Quest 2 and the tracking seems to be something they are working on with updates so even that minor gripe might go away in time. Edit: I should say I mostly use it for PC VR, but the Quest 3 upgrade on the hardware itself means that there are some fairly amazing looking headset native games, not quite PC quality....but honestly its getting surprisingly close given its a glorified mobile phone strapped to your face. I'm curious to see what kinds of upgrades we get for Quest 3 players as studios start taking advantage of the extra oomph. I suspect it will be mostly extra options for Quest 3 players like the upgraded textures for Asgard's Wrath 2 or The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners rather than Quest 3 exclusive games, but I am down with that, the upgrades are still good and it means I can play with my friends who are still on Quest 2.
i bought quest 3 512gb. version ,and after owning the quest 2 256gb. iwould say stick to quest 2 ,because developers have not yet even started programming for the quest 3
You cannot add con point due missing eye tracking. That is unfair reaction for low price of 550 Euro. Most headsets with face tracking are more expensive. You know that well, so it's not correct con point versus price point! Ofc we all miss that feature, but forgivable due lower 550 price. Let's move that eye tracking to upcoming Quest Pro 2 with faster chip, okay? (or if you cannot wait, get older Quest Pro)
I agree, especially since the tech has only just barely entered the consumer market with the PSVR 2, we'll get it eventually in a future model, but for what we got now, it's perfectly fine, and isn't a here and now must
How the Quest 3 go with Steam link vr is most game work correctly with it? Secondly, some games are crossplay from pc/ps5 vr. Does the native game in Quest 3 also crossplay with ps5vr?
For me, I have a PS5, so PSVR2 was the choice, as Quest 3 costs a lot more than the PSVR2 here. OLED is amazing, and HDR of the PSVR2 gives the most natural lighting. If I had no PS5 then Quest 3 would be my Choice. I have the Quest 2 anyway. For me Would rather have a smaller better quality games, library than 100's of less quality mobile VR Games. Most games don't even take advantage of the Quest 2
What I want to know apart from loss of exclusivity is why these companies don't include direct pass through to avoid compression and make them the best of both worlds. PC and stand alone. It's not rocket science technology...
the quest 3 is way too overpriced in europe how come its 500 dollars but in europe its 530-540 euro with sale! even though a euro is worth more than a dollar so it should be less than 500 ridiculous ill just get the pico 4 its the same headset but lacks the latest xr chipset and is better for pcvr

i use shadow cloud pc to run no mans sky on my quest 3 anywhere with wifi
In what way is a psvr 2 even a competing device?
When it comes to battery life I would never really have this be a probelm due to me only playing for about an hour, hour and a half on my Quest 2
What a weird video
exorbitant price tag when compared to what else is on the market is funny

I upgraded to q3 for pancake lenses more than anything else and it was worth it.
That may be true, but I'd buy the headset for the lenses alone, and it being faster and smaller then the Quest 2 is definitely another reason
I'd get it for pcvr.
