This is pretty damn informative.. and you learned the combos before the deck even hit shelves. You should be proud cause that takes some brainiac bower.
2:05 fire king card, it is not limited to monsters 6:05 you can also send shuraig and fossil warrior skull knight. This allows you to pop your own sacred garunix at the end of the combo, getting it in the GY for the whole "revive garunix pop kirin revive ponix and get a non target pop". This is arguably better than a fleurdelis negate and requires 1 less brick
7:15 any reason you're not normal summoning arvata (also skipped WANTED draw)? 8:00 you can also make IP here. After you do the whole "revive garunix pop kirin revive ponix and non target pop" you can use ponix + IP to make SP, getting you another banish
If you're willing to run 1 copy of snake eyes ash, the two card combo becomes a one card combo (just without the arvata of course). Basically you summon snake eyes ash off the sinful spoil, search for ponix and normal summon it. You proceed as normal except after you finish you link snake eyes ash + sacred garunix into IP. Still nets you 4 interruptions(plus a search): nontarget pop, SP summon, SP on field, and garunix eternity nuke Up to you whether running this weak card is worth it to make the 4 copies of diablestar better
Overall this was a very nice video but I feel the combos could've been a bit more fleshed out. I get trying to keep things simple but like, what I described are literally the bread and butter combos, they should be included in a guide
I'm personally quite hyped for Fire Kings but, I'd like to see other builds without Diabellestarr. Just because I can't afford 3 copies of Wanted let alone one, lol. Otherwise I'm anticipating a long wait for reprints in mp24 😅
There is a version with Nadir Servant and Dogmatika Maximus that lets you search Ponix and get a free draw, you need Garura and Tri Brigade Shuraig in the Extra Deck
I’m just playing 3 copies of Black Witch and 2 Sinful Spoils, you get the same level of consistency but lose out on the draw 1. If you want to be Uber budget, you can just play 3 copies of Sinful Spoils as well
One of my best friends got me into yugioh and I bought this pack but wasn't sure of the gimmicks for types, glad to be able to understand the fire type cards I got and be prepared to kick his dino cards
If you destroy Sacred Fire King Garunix to add a card to your hand using Fire King Island. Can you also special summon the same Sacred Fire King Garunix that was destroyed from the graveyard?
Hey gal, what is your expectation for this deck? You think its gonna be a good meta deck like in the ocg? Because i got a very good feeling that it can be a good meta contender
I think the deck will suffer from what Konami simply does not understand: You can't release a new Structure Deck and then expect people to buy a Four-Card-Engine for 200 dollars so the deck is competitive or consistent. That's not how you get new players into the game or current players to play this deck. Yes, you can compensate Diabellestarr with Prosperity, but when the Banlist puts the Pot to 1, you have to play two Extravs to keep the deck going. Kinda like with Floowandereeze where you need Prosperity and Thrust to keep the deck, that might as well costs about 30 dollars in low rarity, vital for the additional cost of 200 dollars or even more pre reprint of Prosperity. My hype for the deck is there, yes, but it's not as high as it was before.
1000% true. Very bad move if konamis intension is to get new or old players into the game .. as soon as they buy 3x structur and than they realize"yeah the structur is super good but its better with 200$ engine" is super frustrating and after 1 month they probably lose interest
The successful structure decks of past years in fact came out playable out of the box, but the structures who because top tier meta (Branded) did require additional investment when the deck was released. It is what it is :)
The deck is playable out of the box, and there are budget variants like the Tri-Brigade one. You’ll find it that working on your list, your technical play, siding pattern and all the other soft skills of the game is going to take you a lot further than blindly spending 200 dollars under the impression that the deck cannot exist otherwise.
@@dnboii4404 Well right now it has skyrocketed way above 200$, but the engine we were talking about is called the Diabelstar/Snake-Eyes engine. You'll most likely find it in the majority of Fire King deck profiles.

Thanks for all that, I also like Skull Knight.
Looks like a great archetype! I honestly love it when komoney makes structure decks of archetypes that can compete in locals
It is really good idea, bring me back to the game after many years.

Love these kind of videos
What is the name of the deck builder/test hands are you using for this video
duelingbook
@@shimoshan7341 thx
Being more budget, Do you think fire king can be competitive with the tri-brigade build?
Tri-brigade fire king build is by far the best budget competitive version
Can you please make a video on how to side/beat fire kings? Trying to learn how to play against it
Maybe play anti-monster effect traps, which would throw the combos off completely
Trap holes are your friends!
could you have done it without SP?
Buy three of em
in what pack can i find the Fire King Ponix mate ?
In the structure deck.
@@galzo thanks mate , total G !! new to the game , saw the deck from a homie , just tryna find all the cards you have here lol
