I'm so glad the lemon tree has so many lemons. Here's to a healthy, happy plant in the future! Thanks for the little sneak around your garden today, I was just talking to my sister on the phone about your fabulous mammillaria's and euphorbia's around Bentley's toilet about 30 mins ago! :D Obviously I had to send the link to this video to her!
congrats on the LEMON tree!!! May you enjoy many glasses of lemonade in the garden. I am working on a tiny succulent area in my garden. I started it last year and this year tweaked it a bit. Still need to add plants/stones. YOU are the driving force for this project. LOVE seeing all the beauty in your garden.
In South Africa, we are sliding off of summer and into Autumn-it is such a mild time of the year along the coast where I live and such a joy to do some gardening. Thank you for your inspirational and informative videos everyday - I appreciate you and your family for keeping us tuned in 🤗
Thanks for helping to motivate us to get out and garden! I had fun transplanting a small euphorbia tree, pruning, etc. next morning. Btw, bees loooove the euphorbia flowers 😆
yea for the lemon tree!!! that Espoma is GOLD, isn't it? so happy you were able to save it!! and holy roses: hubby and i just added another climber to our arbor and yup, picked out an Eden rose! oh boy, i just got a preview!!! booya! can't wait! :)
As you say, " ain't no garden without a phalace" lmao but I do love the mixture of stone that's collected on the ground. The different colors are making up a nice vibe.
The gold color fire glass looks so soft and natural as a top dressing; really brings together the cactus and pot. You get a blue ribbon for those roses, heavenly! Happy the lemon tree is staying. Read the bag!! 😂 Love these short informal videos! Bentley does too!
Saw my first mangave Lavender Lady at the big box store and know why you use the mangaves in your installations🤗. Also, thank you for giving me the courage to “man handle” my succulents!
My dear friend I love your videos and all your great tips about succulents I do have a lot of succulents in my garden to thank you for another great video today hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy and Debbie
thank u for ANOTHER great video! The succulent shelf on the fence with the overflowing donkey tails is amazing. Do you have a video of that project? it looks so cool.
This is a comment about your roses. Many years ago I lived in a house that had an old rosebush in the front yard. One day I was very aggravated at it and decided I would trim it. I don't know the time of year but it was warm. So it was probably the wrong time to trim it. The next year there were more blooms than I knew what to do with. Some plants don't care when you trim them up you just have to do it.
rooting for your lemon tree! fighting a bit of a battle with mine; routine scale infestations ): I mechanically remove them, wipe everything down with a soapy rag, and treat with neem oil. can’t seem to keep them away!
Roses look amazing! Just a suggestion, I think your yellow crown of thorns would look better in the opposite section. The rest in place of the crown of thorns. 🌸
I love watching all your UA-cam videos and seeing your installations. I have a question about you use of driftwood pieces. The ones you've used seem to be "spiky." Maybe this is what you prefer? I live in Northern California and my son loves to go to the beaches north of San Francisco. He has brought many, many home (to his wife's chagrin). His are always smooth and curvy-which I think is pretty. Just sayin'.
are there any cactus that can be grown outside in Iowa zone 5A/5B line? I know my dad in Alexandria, IN which is 6A/6B line has some sort of cactus growing outside but I want something more confined rather than sprawling. thanks
I grew up in Central Illinois and one house we lived in had a prickly pear (that's what we called it) that lived outside all year round by a road no less and it lived very well. My mother hated it and was always trying to get rid of it. But it always came back.
@@LauraEubanks I have a small one that a local plant shop gave me because they neglected it, the leaves dropped, and thought it wouldn't sell. It's flushing out new leaves as we speak! You and your videos inspire me and my husband so much. Thank you for everything you do and for just being exactly who you are. 💚
Yay for the lemon tree! I may be that trees biggest fan 🤣
You may be the only fan🤣
I'm rooting for the lemon tree too 🍋
