Lindas done well today!! Still cant get over how much you stitch each day!! Im doing full cross on my stained glass mermaid so its taking forever!! Its nice to see your progress on ig everyday. With the alice in wonderland one on hand dyed fabric, do you wash it first? Ive heard if you want to wash after you finish stitching you need to wash it before starting so the colour doesnt run. Is that always necessary? Is there a way to not let the fabric get dirty? Mine always does. But ive not used dyed fabric yet so not sure what i should do. Ill be doing dragon kin (no background version) on this gorgeous hand dyed fabric and i dont want to ruin it or the finished stitching.
Right!? Look at Linda behaving herself lol. I'm lucky that I have a lot of hours to stitch and I'm doing tent stitch so that helps make it faster. I never wash the fabric first and to be honest I never wash my projects 😬😅. I don't think it is necessary but that is just my personal opinion. I know I will wash the ones that have the pregrid in them but other than that I never wash my projects. I am not sure how to go about it but I would recommend not washing your fabric unless you know for sure that it is color fast. Or just do a small corner and see what happens. I would feel horrible if you spent all that time stitching and washed your project and the dye changes or ruins the colors you've stitched. Yay!!! I can't wait to see your Dragon Kin! I kind of wish I did the no background but I didn't know that was an option when I made my purchase but it's okay she will be worth it🥳. Happy stitching🥰
@@AmyTaylorCreativitybygidge ahh see i thought you always had to wash projects cos they get dirty from your hands etc. Ok well i might email the place where i got the fabric from and ask. Most of my projects are on pre gridded fabric so ive always washed. And the little one i did do on hand dyed was only small and it was quick so didnt gave the chance to get dirty! I cant wait to start dragon kin but it seems i am a monogamous stitcher so unless i get sick of the mermaid it will be awhile till i start it! Heres to more videos with a happy linda!
I could tell you lost weight. But I didn't want to ask, some people get a little sticky when it is brought up. You look fabulous! You have always been beautiful but your new gained confidence makes you even more so! Congrats, its not an easy thing 🤟
I start off with them in hand and then as soon as I see the fabric starting to warp I put it in a qsnap. By that point I'm usually far enough away from the corner that I can put it on the qsnap.
I was wondering what suggestion you would give to some one who wants to learn more sign language. I know the basics. Where I work we get some deaf and hearing. I live in a very small rural town. Know college classes aviable here. I was thinking about books. There are a lot of books out there. Any suggestions would help. Congrats on 15lbs lost. Thanks for any help.
The best advice I can give is if you can do it in person go for it. The books are a great resource but sometimes hard to get a clear idea of what the sign is because it's not 3D if that makes sense. You could try a book and see of there are videos on UA-cam that maybe you could work side by side with. Or you could even as the people you are working with. Write down on a paper what sign you would like to learn and most of them are happy to show you. Immersion is by far the best way to learn. I hope this helps just a little bit and I'm so excited that you want to learn 🥰🥳. Thank you so much it has been an amazing journey so far and I'm super excited to see where this continues to go.
@@AmyTaylorCreativitybygidge actually I do not sign. I have really always wanted to learn. I just finished XRay School. So now maybe I will have time to learn ASL.
@@inkdrinking_stitcher a great start is to see if there are any groups or classes in your area. Doesn't necessarily need to be from school unless you're planning on being certified for it. If you're planning to become certified definitely go to a school with ASL offered and then submerge yourself with the deaf community. Most are very welcoming and excited that you are learning their language. Good luck and keep me posted if you do. It makes my heart so happy when others learn sign language.

Loved your video! Do you mind telling me what health program you are using?
Thank you so much! Are you on Instagram or Facebook? I would love to share the info but it is a lot of info lol.
@@AmyTaylorCreativitybygidge yes terryleecrafts on ig and UA-cam
@@TerryleeCrafts I will got to both and subscribe and add with a pm 🥰
I could tell you lost weight. But I didn't want to ask, some people get a little sticky when it is brought up. You look fabulous! You have always been beautiful but your new gained confidence makes you even more so! Congrats, its not an easy thing 🤟
Oh my gosh thank you so much! Oh I totally wouldn't get sticky about it I'm too excited 🤣. Awww thank you Cherie! You've totally just made my day! 🥰🤟
Do you stitch your full coverage pieces in hand?
I start off with them in hand and then as soon as I see the fabric starting to warp I put it in a qsnap. By that point I'm usually far enough away from the corner that I can put it on the qsnap.

Yaaas. No sleeping here tonight
Awww thanks for hanging out with me 🥰
I was wondering what suggestion you would give to some one who wants to learn more sign language.
So I now find you way more awesome now that I know you sign too.
Yay!! Does that mean you know sign too? Mine is terrible but I do my best and for the most part those who do understand say I'm not doing too bad 😅🥲
@@AmyTaylorCreativitybygidge actually I do not sign. I have really always wanted to learn. I just finished XRay School. So now maybe I will have time to learn ASL.
@@inkdrinking_stitcher oh that would be awesome! I know my mom got super excited when she had someone who could sign even if it was just a little bit.
@@AmyTaylorCreativitybygidge I have been dying to learn. Just not sure what the best way in doing it would be.
Love all of your WIPS - they are just beautiful - You are making great progress on all of them.
You amaze me with your Sign Language ❤️
I have a Floss Tube Channel and it is called Linda Klinedinst on You Tube.
Take Care - Happy Stitching ❤️XX❤️
Thank you so much! I can't wait to get back to all of them🤗. Aww thank you so much... I always feel like I am fumbling when it comes to my sign but I'm grateful that everyone has been understanding about it. I just subscribed and can't wait to catch up with you 🥰
@@AmyTaylorCreativitybygidge - Awww Thank You for Subscribing to my Channel.
I love HAED Patterns - they are so so beautiful. It’s hard to stitch on a NON HAED Pattern when all you want to do is to stitch on a HAED WIP. I am only stitching on four HAED WIPS and one Non HAED WIP which is a Top Secret Project. I can’t show it until the Recipient gets the Finished Framed Picture.
Cannot wait til your next Floss Tube Video ❤️🤗
I had a Nephew who was Deaf and Mute and so I know all about Sign Language. Unfortunately he got hit by a Oncoming Train right behind my brothers house. The Railroad Tracks was right behind their house. My Nephew and a friend of his went Bike Riding and his Friend knew Sign Language. The Train Conductor and my Nephew’s Friend did everything in their power to keep him from going over the Tracks so he would not get killed. My Nephew could not comprehend at that time what they was trying to tell him - he was over whelmed and scared and he went over the Tracks on his Bicycle when the Train was coming. The rest is History. This happen in Pennsylvania where they would living at the time. Now my brother and his wife lives in Arkansa.
Take Care - Happy Stitching ❤️🤗XX❤️
I am so loving working on full coverage projects and HAED's are my go to for sure. I'm spoiled by pattern keeper lol. You're so welcome and I can't wait to see which ones you are working on 🥰. I have quite a few on the go and just as many if not more non full coverage going 😃. Oh my gosh I am so so sorry for your loss!! That must have been so scary for everyone involved. I hope your brother and his wife are well. I couldn't imagine that pain.
@@AmyTaylorCreativitybygidge - I make my Floss Tube Videos on Saturdays for the most part.
I showed two of them in my last Video - Last Saturday’s Video ❤️
@@AmyTaylorCreativitybygidge - My Brother and his wife are doing well - Thank You - Yes it was a very difficult time for my family when it happen. I also had a Uncle who got killed by a Train back in the late 1970’s. Two of my Family Members have gotten killed by a Train now. My Grandfather was the Chief Engineer of two Railroad Companies pus the Train Operator and that is when they had the Caboose at the end of the Trains.
I still have a special place in my heart for Trains despite the two Tragedies that my family have gone though. I just love Trains.
