So happy to finally find an SAE A202 video. I'm working on replacing my Caps and a broken transistor. Do you have the schematic and would be willing to share it? I'm having a problem finding the correct replacement for my broken transistor. The case says 8C C2240 BL and Q102L is printed on the board. Thanks!
Yep Too Much Of a Hush in That Lovely Amp Thats For Sure Thats a Massive C Core Or R Core Mains Transformer Good Idea To Change Those Transistors And Caps And Why Would Anyone Put Electrolytic Capacitors Right Beside a Heatsink To Dry Out I Would Also Reflow All Those Bad Conections Hope You Get To The Bottom Of Your Problem Farmradio Thanks For Uploading (every body loves a Mystery) Regards mike
Those output transistors are identical to the ones in my Technics SA-1010. Glad you're doing alright and thanks for sharing.

No schematics on the A202 exist, use the A502 for reference. 2SC2240 perhaps?
How is the idle current done on the A202?
I'm unsure, but read someplace its towards the back/rear panel?
