In a country where 4 out of 5 talk about islam, musalman, religion, kashmir, illusioned with greatest army, what can you expect.

The problem with Pakistan is thatit is too a religious politicised society. Religion is paramount than politics as can be shown that because Kashmir is mainly populated by Muslims it should be Islam. Not so. Kashmir belong to Indiam historically as all other arts with Muslim or Islamic communities and Pakistan went to war with religious zeal to conquer and rule in the name of religion. Dr/ Haque please explain this concept to your audiences. Another thing, is that no country can maintain terror in the name or religion or otherwise and develop. No country wants to see you or know you.
It's not a Car or it's not a Electric Machine that you can fix anytime. It's a country who needed good direction with a proper vision and need solid reform of foundation which unfortunately absence in Pakistan last 75 years
You are right. But this country consists of about 200 million people. If at least half of them had tried to stay true to themselves and did something good, productive, and most importantly were honest, kind and gentle then this country would have been a paradise to live in. We can blame all on whoever we want. But we forget that change starts within ourselves and we are the biggest dishonest liars ever. Allah gives us such leaders because we ourselves are corrupt to the core.

Ager roughly 50 million Pakistani women gain on average $10k per year, it can generate revenue of 500 billion USD. It means just mutah technology can double Pakistan GDP.

Dr.sahib these are not your audiences to whom you are addressing most of them are beneficiaries of the system and have skill to make polices which are in the best interest of Pakistan and public at large at the same time they have the art to mould it in their best interest of their own.They have the information about arena weaponry and rules at the same time they know the wishlist of the kings for whom this game is designed.We have to think something out of the box.

We need education for the masses . A proper focus on education will pay off in the long run… and we need to start demanding local goods not imported good. Simple. And we need to make sure everyone pays their fair share in taxes

I think universities should prepare a plan for charter of economy and MPA/MNA`s should only use to teach people at mohallah/town level.
i do care about economy. i quit my university to do psychotherapy do mba by myself from international uni. while being at home.... and setting up a business to get the economy a chance.

I had the privilege of meeting with you during the tenure of ADB's project 'The Pakistan Integrated Energy Model' in 2008/09. You were then with the Planning Commission. I was working with a subcontractor for a US based company. I mention this here because that model was very diligently constructed to provide planning and policy inputs for our national domestic and strategic energy requirements. The planning horizon extended right up to 2050, which is some evidence of the flexibility of the model. As far as I know, that project never got implemented. What this implies is that a lot of our finances go down the drain with projects that get shelved.
The project also envisaged an active collaboration with the universities for regular refinements in the model. I was then also associated with a premier engineering university of Karachi. Though, I left Pakistan a couple of years later, no such interaction exists as yet within the industry-academia ambit for developing anything similar to the Pak-IEM.
We need urgent ecnomic reforms through Pakistan Tehreek e Moaashi Inqalab PTMI. A financial revolution movement in Pakistan.
There is always a small "intelligentsia" which may be called as "Creative Minority" which is the real source of generating and evolving new ideas/ thoughts in society that shape and re-shape the socio- economic structure. But, unfortunately, we remained unable to educate our society the true values of knowledge ; true attitude towards knowledge , the purpose and value of acquiring information is totally different from purpose and value of acquiring knowledge. Different kinds of information can be "searched" but knowledge is developed by "researched". Knowledge by Researched, has its intrinsic value and large scope while pieces of information have only its face value and limited scope. We, in our society are only working on information regeneration and representation, that's a basic problem.
The best way to fix Pakistan is to mass educate people and have some sort of common sense. If everyone strived to be the best version of themselves - only then Pakistan could stand on its own. The change starts within ourselves and not from the outside source. We should be honest and start off with ourselves.
If we can't get serious now then life is depressing here. Best case for good educated people then should be to leave this country and say good luck to everyone else here
Sins of the past aside, if the status quo is a largely ill-educated, ignorant, unproductive majority that shows no instinct to self-correct, what is to be done? Is it in the hands of us mere mortals at all, I'm forced to wonder.
