Danie: works on projects (ie a GARAGE) that us mere mortals couldn’t even comprehend. Also Danie: “I don’t know if I’m crafty enough to dry oranges” Everything looks so beautiful!
Orange kudos. Tips from another first user. Use a mandolin slicer. Thinner. Turn every 1/2 hr. Dry 100% so don't mold. For Xtra scent add allspice, cinnamon or clove. Yay!
Great advice. I'll also add that this year, I did mine at 200-225 ferenheit. It took a little over 2 hours. I flipped mine at the 1 hour mark, also on a rack.
So cozy and adorable! I love cranberry orange also. Also, your editor deserves a raise, or at least an "attaboy." This video was very well done- just the perfect amount of goofy and cute. 😁
The dining room looks lovely. As for the oranges I don’t think you cut them thin enough but they look wonderful in the window with the sunlight shining through them. Love the window decor and the hand painted ornaments. Nicely done, Danie!
Look, I've got nothing against those who decorate with a more "fresh from the store" aesthetic but I love your handmade take on decorating for the holidays (and all year round), making the most of a few store-bought essentials and a hearty dose of thrifted/had it for forever finds. Your rooms feel incredibly authentic and personal, and you inspire me to do the same in my own rooms.
Danie, try to not be surprised when HGTV calls trying to sign you. This year you really knocked it outta the park! I love the garland, each step of the process it just got better & better. The book sled is so cool. Nice & chuncky, very simple. Talk about custom ornaments, using the same paint as the kitchen cabinets, genius! High priced high end glassware, no worries, Danie & her Cricut saves the day coming up with your own holiday starware with the cutest napkin, too. Thanks for being you & sharing your beautifully light-hearted soul with us. hUgz from Ohio, Teresa Lee
So warm and inviting! Chic simplicity! Love the cranberry/orange combo. I love your style. You really stand out among other UA-camrs of your generation who all copy one another instead of finding their own style/vibe. Happy holidays, Dani!
For hanging stuff... Command hooks. Easy and removable without leaving damage, but I also use twist ties. I've been hanging items using the same pinholes in my walls for about 30 years too. Painted several, times but I know where they are. 😊 Looks very festive at your house! 🤗🎄
In order to decorate successfully with beads on a tree, this has been my experience. You NEED 3 strands. Divide the tree into 3 vertical sections. Start each strand near top and spiral down diagonally, draping where you want them. Voila!
You can also bend the branches of the tree to hold the beads wherever you want them to be. I start in the centre of the tree with my garland, and work my way from both directions.
Hi Danie, I love the garlands with the oranges and berries! I only dislike the painted balls. I'm afraid the (too) dark colour disappears at dark, and I would habe painted bigger flowers to make it farmhouse. Now it looks like a panther print to me haha! But love the complete picture! Love from the Netherlands! ❤
The orange-cranberry theme is gorgeous. I love, love, love the look of your windows. Plus, this all seems doable for a complete newb like me! Thanks for the inspo!
Absolute Perfection ❤ I loved everything... The windows are gorgeous, the oranges look like little stain glass with the sun shining through them. You nsiled the 'Inspo' glassware too. Bravo 👏
Beautiful! The garland was better with each layer. The orange/bell garland brings it over the top. Now, simmer some orange slices, cinnamon sticks, cranberries, bay leaf, maybe even rosemary or thyme on your stove or in a crockpot for a delicious smell all throughout the home. The glassware, and pieces - WOW!! So pretty and festive!!! This all goes right into the New Year and a bit beyond!! Ingenius idea buying velvet pillow covers to create your own ribbon! Now to just sit back with a cup of hot cocoa or tea (orange, perhaps !!) and ahhhhh... Happy Saturday!!
LOVED the H&M glassware dupe - who knew a cricut could do that?!? The oranges look beautiful, and the book sleigh could stay out year round - if I didn’t know you just made it, I’d think it was a vintage doll sleigh.
Sometimes Aldi has dehydrators on sale for cheap. That could help and then you could use it to make jerky too! Lol. Great video, love your videos and personality. Thanks for starting my Saturday mornings with sunshine and laughter.
The orange garlands are gorgeous, especially in the windows! Like, them paired with the greenery and the sun shining through is just 20/10, A+. (The kitchen would be more minimal if you removed the random oil lamp/stool sitting next to the buffet... ;))
Delightful Danie Decor! The oranges give a stained glass look to the garlands, I loved how they grew with each added layer! At you have blessed holidays!
Best line: "Look at me, I'm being Marth Stewart today." Ha ha ha! Regarding the little sled, I made a trip to my local "Family Dollar" store today and they had gorgeous sleds for hanging on a door as Christmas decor, and they were FIVE DOLLARS! The sleds came in red or white, but could easily be painted over with colors that fit one's decor. I didn't measure them (no tape measure with me and I wasn't looking for them anyway), but I'd say they were about 18 inches long and 10 to 12 inches wide. VERY cute with "Merry Christmas" painted on them in contrasting color to the body color.
I love it all!!!!! All the gold elements with the balls that match your cabinets! And I love the tension rods!! I’m tired of taping lights up (looks tacky) or putting holes in my window trims. My windows are small. I live in a shed/tiny house conversion. So the tension rods are perfect for every season and all decorations. Your tree topper is perfect too. Like I said, I love it all.
Your book sled unlocked a memory from my time in high school (in the 1980s). In shop class, we made sleds just like that for Christmas presents! It was easy enough that even someone really terrible at woodworking (like me) made.a few nice ones and our families really liked them.
You are a creative wonder! What a talent you have for designing, creating, and making. This skill set is not natural to everyone, and I love that you share your creative process with us that do not have this skill set!
So beautiful. The oranges look like stained glass in the windows and it's inspired me. You can also take whole cloves and push them into oranges and hang them. They smell so good and dry naturally. I made some for my mom in the mud-90s and she still has them. They still have some of their scent.
This is the tip your need for the orange slices!! After you cut them microwave for 30 seconds between paper towel! Removes much of the juices! Then bake. Game changer.
Personally I'd have hot glued popcorn and un shelled walnuts to the swags. Great Creative Ideas! Most of these can be used without needing Christmas time!❤
I love every single part of this but for me the standouts are the window garlands and the golden star glassware. This feels festive dark academia - which I didn’t know could exist 😄!
Danie, thank you for being so real. I, and I think many other folks, related to the garland hanging and to the 7 hours of baking oranges. Once hung, the oranges look like stained glass with the sunlight shining through. Another great set of DIYs that left me Googling gluten-free recipes for cranberry-orange muffins and scones and wanting to practice on the jigsaw.
Pillow ribbons - genius! Sunlight behind orange slices makes them look like stained glass. Love all of it! Thanks for the inspo! Now I am off to the storage building and see what magic I can wrought!
I love the minimal holiday decor!! I usually do it all up for the holiday's and this year I am encouraged by you and other influencers to do a more minimal look. I do not have to put out every decor piece I have for the holidays and that takes off some of the pressure of decorating. I love your look and everything you do.
Danie, you are adoreable, and while cranberry is delicious and pretty, the garlands are Holly berries! lol That's the traditional red Christmas berry, but they can be cranberries if you want them to be 😉. Everything looks beautiful! Your holiday spirit made me feel so spirited too! 🎄🎁
Oh my word....you crack me up! You keep it so real....the tension rod ....just got me, cause I have so been there. Your efforts are turning out wonderfully!
I love the cranberry ropes. They really add to the garland. I have always used a mandoline to cut my oranges and then use my dehydrator to dry them. They always come out perfect.
Frankly this couldn’t have been more aptly timed for me. I was just looking up some diy decor ideas- not loving anything and then I was like “… hm. Wonder if Dani has anything.” And boom! You landed in my feed :)
Love the cranberry orange theme. It’s fresh and modern. I’m simplifying too this year and I’ve already dried the oranges. Now to dig out the garlands and lights…. Cheers!
Congratulations and great job on getting decked out for Christmas!!! 🎄🎀🕯️🌟✨🎉 Thanks for bringing us along. I like the mini Cricket products. 🤔😍. Wish list added ✅

Everything looks so beautiful!
This is so funny XD
Giggles galore over this one! The greenhouse, the bathroom...👌
Those window garlands are gorgeous! Thank you for including the footage of the tension rod struggle. ❤️
so much tension in this video haha
Haha! I have such trouble with mine. Used duct tape to keep mine in place. Maybe I should change it up. White rod, Black tape... hmmmm
Lone Fox didn’t show his blooper with shower curtain garland.
Orange kudos. Tips from another first user. Use a mandolin slicer. Thinner. Turn every 1/2 hr. Dry 100% so don't mold. For Xtra scent add allspice, cinnamon or clove. Yay!

Agreed, many slices were definitely too thick 👌🏼
Great tips! 🎄🍊
Best part of Saturday mornings!! With my hot cold beverage combo of course 😂
The ONLY way to do it! ♥️
Agree❣️
i though i was the only one, gotta have the old hot & cold combo!
So cozy and adorable! I love cranberry orange also.
Also, your editor deserves a raise, or at least an "attaboy." This video was very well done- just the perfect amount of goofy and cute. 😁
Atta girl!! Haha will pass along ♥️
you're chaos and I'm kinda here for it.
The dining room looks lovely. As for the oranges I don’t think you cut them thin enough but they look wonderful in the window with the sunlight shining through them. Love the window decor and the hand painted ornaments. Nicely done, Danie!
That's what I thought when she was cutting them: need to be thinner!
The flowers on your ornaments look like bittersweet to me. That's my story I'm sticking to it
Look, I've got nothing against those who decorate with a more "fresh from the store" aesthetic but I love your handmade take on decorating for the holidays (and all year round), making the most of a few store-bought essentials and a hearty dose of thrifted/had it for forever finds. I love all the decorations, but my favorite part of this video is how genuinely happy you are! ❤🎄

Editor was on his/her game in this video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I could not possibly LOVE this decor any more!!! Your home looks so cozy and relaxing.
So warm and inviting! Chic simplicity! Love the cranberry/orange combo. I love your style. You really stand out among other UA-camrs of your generation who all copy one another instead of finding their own style/vibe. Happy holidays, Dani!

You can use ornament hooks for the perfect swoop with your garlands. Such a cozy video and beautiful decor🎄
You can also bend the branches of the tree to hold the beads wherever you want them to be. I start in the centre of the tree with my garland, and work my way from both directions.
I love that your decor represents you and not just the current trends. 😍
With the garland in the window I feel like your home is giving me festive, cozy, english pub vibes and I love it so so much!
Hi Danie, I love the garlands with the oranges and berries! I only dislike the painted balls. Oh my!! The cranberry-orange is so you…maybe because it brought you such joy!
Oh my gosh!!!!! Im obsessed with the garlands!!!! The orange cranberry theme looks so dang rustic and homey and just overall old-school Christmas!
I’m obsessed!!! I love how you tied in the colors of your kitchen into your holiday decor in such a festive way! 👏🏻😻
Absolute Perfection ❤ I loved everything... The windows are gorgeous, the oranges look like little stain glass with the sun shining through them. You nsiled the 'Inspo' glassware too. Bravo 👏

Love the orange and cranberry. I think you should put Christmas greens in the vase on top of the sleigh.😊
LOVED the H&M glassware dupe - who knew a cricut could do that?!? The oranges look beautiful, and the book sleigh could stay out year round - if I didn’t know you just made it, I’d think it was a vintage doll sleigh.
Those glasses ended up looking amazing! And the napkins are so cute as well. The sleigh 🛷 is to die for!
Sometimes Aldi has dehydrators on sale for cheap. That could help and then you could use it to make jerky too! Lol. Great video, love your videos and personality. Thanks for starting my Saturday mornings with sunshine and laughter.

All looks gorgeous! My favorite though is the window garland!!!!!
*chef’s kiss”
The garlands look great but best part is how happy you looked because of them.
Delightful Danie Decor! The oranges give a stained glass look to the garlands, I loved how they grew with each added layer! At you have blessed holidays!
I love Shayda Campbell too! Everything looks so nice! Love the tension rod idea. The sleigh is so cute!
Love the orange slices, they almost look like stained glass!
I make my whole berry cranberry sauce with crushed anise seeds. It is so yummy.
Your little houses from last year would look adorable on your pegboard shelf 😍
Garlands are gorgeous! Decorations look awesome!
Tip: use clear, round shower curtain rings on the trnsion rod and "hook" your garlands in them.
Happy birthday! It's my husband's birthday as well. He's 70 years old today.
I am 100% stealing the window decor! What a great idea to bring that side of the kitchen into the other side. It looks fantastic.
SO cute right!? I'm glad you're doing it too! Share a photo with me on social when you are done! Would love to see it!
The orange slices in the window gives it a nice pop of color.
Best line: "Look at me, I'm being Marth Stewart today." Ha ha ha! The editing work that went into this is outstanding! The tree is my favorite ♡

Oranges giving a stained glass glow! Love the look!

I loved everything! The garlands are my favorite, but I love the duped glasses. One of the best dupes ever. Thanks for the holiday inspiration!
DANIE!! I love it! The oranges and cranberries are so beautiful! I will totally be taking this inspo into my home!! Wheee!
You are a creative wonder! What a talent you have for designing, creating, and making. This skill set is not natural to everyone, and I love that you share your creative process with us that do not have this skill set!
the window garland is stunning, really beautiful

I’m obsessed with oranges and cranberries! Little tip: sew in and out of the orange slice so they lie flat along the garland
I did ruby red grapefruit, limes and oranges intermixed w/ star anise and cinnamon sticks, best smelling kitchen ever.
Could not imagine anything more perfect. Once again you hit it out of the park.
So original and So pretty.
This is the tip your need for the orange slices!! After you cut them microwave for 30 seconds between paper towel! Removes much of the juices! Then bake. Game changer.

The cranberry & orange theme is perfect!
Love seeing some of the editor interactions back
Everything is so beautiful. I think I would have swapped out the books on the sled for a Christmas decor book. But that's just me. Loved this episode!
I love the idea of using the tension rods for the garland, it’s gorgeous.
I love every single part of this but for me the standouts are the window garlands and the golden star glassware. This feels festive dark academia - which I didn’t know could exist 😄!

Another great set of DIYs that left me Googling gluten-free recipes for cranberry-orange muffins and scones and wanting to practice on the jigsaw.
I wasn’t sure how you were going to make all those colors work together but you pulled it off and everything turned out beautiful!
With the oranges - I recommend using the handle of a wooden spoon to prop the oven door open slightly, to let the moisture form the drying fruit out.
Love the orange and cranberry theme!!
I guess this is now officially my favourite video of yours! Thank you for sparking our creativity with yours all this time 🧡❤️
Love the cranberry orange theme. Great design, Danie ❤🧡
Love the oranges lighting up in the windows ❤
Very classy! Lol! Christmas books on the sleigh. Also, Howl's Moving Castle is my favorite! Nerds forever!
It all looks WONDERFUL Danie! I wish I could do dried oranges... alas, I think my domestic fruit flies would love that way too much. lol
Go Griffindor🎉🎉love the napkins ❤ The best part is you are ready a month before the holidays💪🏼
Pillow ribbons - genius! Sunlight behind orange slices makes them look like stained glass. Love all of it! Thanks for the inspo! Now I am off to the storage building and see what magic I can wrought!
Orange cranberry is a great theme.
What a great scent and colour combination, orange and cranberry and pine????. And then the cute sled riser to top of great decor.
I don’t understand how you don’t have more subscribers. I love your content. Beautiful decor & diys! Great job!
I love the minimal holiday decor!! I usually do it all up for the holiday's and this year I am encouraged by you and other influencers to do a more minimal look. 23:13 omg that one little spot I can’t!!! 😩😩
I love your videos❤
10 points for gryffindor!!
Everything is so amazing! I don't know what I love the most, but I'm blown away by the whole thing...the glassware, the gold ribbons (OMG!)!
I agree the window garlands are beautiful!! Happy Holidays Dear Danie !!!😊
You slay the sled 🛷!!!! I love love love everything you did ✨✨✨
Oh my word....you crack me up! You keep it so real....the tension rod ....just got me, cause I have so been there. Your efforts are turning out wonderfully!
The ornaments are giving me Anthropologie vibes!
I love the cranberry ropes. They really add to the garland. I have always used a mandoline to cut my oranges and then use my dehydrator to dry them. They always come out perfect.
Dani...... Let's get to 300,000 by New Year's Eve 🎄🎉 You just need 8,000 👏👏👏
Einfach nur grandios 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉👍🫶🙋🏻♀️
Gotta say - so much inspiration packed into one video!
My favorites are orange window garlands and orange/bell tree garlands!
And the sleigh!
WOW! ❤❤❤
❤ the magical Harry Potter ✨️ vibes!!😅
Remember you can always go to a thrift shop and dollarstore for on a budget DIY! The garland turned out so well.
The window garland is so beautiful
If you like that burgundy like color, slice and dry some red blood oranges. They are beautiful dried. Your house looks festive and lovely.
ok, you convince me to do the orange garland ! Looks amazing ! Not sure why but the diy flowers ornaments give me a Naruto vibe.
Happy Birthday Danie. Love the orange & cranberry theme. Always look forward to your videos on Saturdays. Fun times.
Frankly this couldn’t have been more aptly timed for me. I was just looking up some diy decor ideas- not loving anything and then I was like “… hm. Wonder if Dani has anything.” And boom! You landed in my feed :)

Everything turned out so lovely. I enjoy watching people craft and use their creativity! 😀
Congratulations and great job on getting decked out for Christmas!!! 🎄🎀🕯️🌟✨🎉
