Charleston is right. Public school systems are a joke. I use to ask my son what he learned in school everyday as soon as he came home and he couldn't tell me. He would go do his homework and eat his snack and i would then mk him watch documentaries on or black history that i knew that he wasn't learning in school. He didnt even know who Rosa Parks was or Harriet Tubbsman. They don't even teach them cursive writing anymore which i learned when i was in 3rd grade. I had to teach him how to write in cursive and sign his name. I have since enrolled him in a better school where he is learning more about history and everything he needs to know..
