This video is absolutely stunning! I love that they can take either a beautifully soft and sweet redemption arc together or they can have a totally dark romance and become a full blown evil bloodthirsty power couple, BG3 really knows how to tell a damned good story for either style of player!
Truth. I don't really like turn-based video games, but I'm hooked. I love the levels in the writing for all the characters. You can have the dark romance and the redemption for both Tav and Durge, Karlach is an allegory for terminal illness, and I love this game.
I'm a big fan of Sleeping At Last and Saturn never fails to make me emotional, so seeing it applied to such pivotal scenes in the Durge/Astarion romance is making me tear up and I'm a Galemancer for crying out loud! the editing is so good, it makes me think of a movie! especially with the "plan" monologue. "how rare, and beautiful, it truly is, that we exist."
This song is already something I love and I didn't know how tragically beautiful it'd be to see these two things together, the tears run freely today 🙏🤧 but in the best way
