Yeah skin the gerbil in one week is pretty good. It gets rough eventually though. I remember feeling like I really had a knack for it for a good bit, and maybe I have a decent one, but once I made it through the yoyoexpert trick list and started trying to learn tricks from world level competitiors it definitely got tougher. I think the hardest part is trying to make original tricks though. That and trying to learn A Takeshi Matsuura trick lol, shit's hard. Basically most things that are obvious enough for an intermediate thrower are already made.
@Shireen Basheer If you don’t have a yo-yo and want to try it out then I would recommend getting the replay pro. It’s cheap and a really solid yo-yo. Or the fizz which also is a cheap but solid yo-yo. But the one thing with the fizz is that it has a few boundaries with skill but overall a solid yo-yo. Also I’m a fellow cuber too and actually just learnt how to solve a megaminx a few days ago. Anyways I hope this comment helps!

mike shake in 2022: I proposed to my girlfriend by teleporting into the 4th dimension and creating a ring out of stable antimatter and giving it to her while floating in the 3rd dimension
Some big tips: - When doing a trapeze, give it a slight tug as it hits your indexfinger then bring your hands closer again as it's about to land. This makes it land sooner and once you get it down, will make you get a trapeze (and later kamikaze) more consistently. - Let the yoyo do the work. Due to the speed at which it spins, they are really stable. So if you throw straight and keep your hands aligned, it should land properly by itself. - Instead of manually trying to loop your string under the yoyo when binding it, swing it a bit and catch it like that. Will make you able to chain things a lot smoother once you can do it all in one go. - When binding, you should feel the yoyo start to "pull" on the loop, if you feel this, you can let go, otherwise, keep "feeding" the yoyo a bit more of the loop until it does (having your pads broken in well enough and having nice grippy pads will significantly help with this).
Man... it’s always unbelievable to see how far you’ve gone as a UA-camr. Started watching you when you were small and had only a couple thousand subs, and now you’re at a million! Seriously, congratulations!
Both the mount and bind for the forward throw are really easy to do by just spinning the yoyo around a finger of your free hand to get it on the string. and it's a lot faster and cooler looking than slowly grabbing the string and bringing it up and around. All I can do rn is brain twister so it's not very advanced to do at all.
When you learn something new ,you look dumb when compared to the people who've mastered it. So if you're willing to look dumb(on purpose you'll learn and become smart).
Just a few tips to help in future. :You can fix tilt on a normal backspin mount by making the string coming off of your throw hand touch the side that is further down :You can land a trapeze more consistently if you land it closer to your non throw hand :Always keep your hands in line

As an experienced yoyo-er, I have never seen anyone been able to advance this fast. Man on the flying trapeze is hard enough, but that bind at the end is tremendously difficult to pick up. Moreover, you have done your first "combo trick" called skin the gerbil! That is truly amazing. The next tricks you should consider are double or nothing, boingy-boing, and Mach 5. And while you are at it, why don't you visit the man on the flying trapeze's brother ;).
