I'd love it if you would include a price range for the different restaurants and if what you get is worth the price you pay. What you consider inexpensive might be someone else's expensive. A vacation in Branson can be pricey because of the shows, the restaurants, other fun activities, hotel stay, and tickets and food at SDC. It's good to know how much things cost(we are seniors on a fixed income). Since this was a year ago, I'd love an update because I'm sure there must be some new places to eat that are good, too.
I’m new to this part of the country and I’d love to try some of these places in Branson, although I’m way up in Marshfield. I wish there was a list in your description.
What is the finest restaurant (and good) in Branson? My daughter is heading off to college in a couple weeks and I want to see her off in style. I was thinking Level 2 Steakhouse but thought I would ask around to those who know
My husband and I go to Branson for our Anniversary every year and we try to go to places we've never been each time. This video was PERFECT! We're going to Level 2 Steakhouse for our fancy dinner and we can't wait!
My husband and I got married in Forsythe, MO in a little log chapel and honeymooned in Branson in a log cabin. We had family and friends. Best time ever! That was in 2007! We come back every few years.
My parents invited me to go with them to Branson for an overnight quick little vacation getaway in a few days so why not. Yeah I’m almost 33 but you should always enjoy time with family regardless of age. It’s a nice gesture of them for thinking of me. I haven’t been back to Branson since 2014 so why not.. Thank you for the tips. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Can’t wait to enjoy this quick little trip with them.
We love renting a golf cart at Top of the Rock to go through Lost Canyon cave. We haven't done a video of it yet, though. We should! Have a great trip!
hi, I was staying in Branson for 2 nights. stayed at Baldknobbers motor inn and ate at "Gettin Basted" attached to it. it was so good on my first night I had to go back the second night after leaving SDC. sauce came on the side and was delicious but I didn't even need it. the brisket was tender and cut with a fork. the slaw was home made and the best I have had in a long time. staff was friendly and efficient. I will eat there again next time I visit Branson.
We just moved to Branson and ate at Getting Baisted…oof! Amazing. The Moink burger (with pulled pork and bacon on it) is amazing, but might kill me one day. Anyway, we have eaten there 3 times in the past 2 weeks. 😂😂😂. Love it, but will also explore these other places.
You should try McFarlain’s in the IMAX it’s really good they have good Honey Cornbread and good entrees! One of my favorites is their Meatloaf and their Chicken Alfredo!
We love Botana's (for Mexican food), Billy Gail's (for breakfast), Billy Bob's Dairyland (everything's delicious there!!), Dobyn's (have only done lunch there, but want to try supper & Sunday brunch sometime!!), & Lambert's (in Ozark, but worth the drive!!)!! We started coming to Branson in 2013, & have been back every year since!! Love it!! This year we'll be there for Thanksgiving weekend!! Can't wait!!! Anxious to try some new (to us, anyway) restaurants, so thanks for this extensive list!!
Any chance y'all could do a "post-Coronavirus" update about restaurants? We are going to be making our first trip out there in November, and would love to know what to expect now. Thanks!!!
Good idea! With the exception of some fast food restaurants, most restaurants are allowing in person dining with enhanced precautions. Some restaurants have limited menus. Some buffets have gone to cafeteria or family style.
@@TPF Tip, one buffet style restaurant in WI we go to, has disposable gloves for the customers and social distancing to maintain the buffet. Works great. It is a restaurant that cooks the food on a grill together after you pick the ingredients and spices.
I own a small local motel, these are the places I recommend to my friends/guests The Keeter Center - at the College of the Ozarks Flat Creek - Two locations in the Branson area One on 265, right around the corner from SDC, the other in Cape Fair Famous for their catfish. Ledgestone Grille - Ledgestone Country Club Breakfast($4) Lunch($7-$8) Sunday Brunch($8.65) Italian - Florentina's Mexican - El Lago / Branson West Fall Creek - on 165 Everything is good, but, when I'm hungry for BBQ. Also, known for "thrown rolls" Sugar Leaf Cafe - Grand Village Shops Sandwich heaven.
Hey John you talking about this moo moo restaurant? I didn’t know that fresh bait was the thing in Branson I figured it be down towards the lake there at Branson and that is gluten as you’re talking about that are free so how many gluten can you get for free I’ve never had any gluten’s?
Some of the places you mentioned are national chains. They may be in Branson, but they are not Branson restaurants. I do appreciate the recommendations though.
We tried Vasken Deli and The Sugar Leaf while in Branson. Both were fantastic. We will go back to Vasken on our next visit. Thank you for the suggestion. We stopped by Andy B's while down at the Landing and it was awesome.
Wish I had seen this when went to Branson early in the week. Ate at Tequila's 2 (very disappointed) and ate at Local Flavor (meh) Billy Gail's was the only bright spot as far as eating out. On a different subject.....could barely hear her, but can hear him fine
I’m not a big donuts person but we have a Hurts in Wichita KS and they are by far the best cake donuts I’ve ever eaten. If you like donuts that are cake style then Hurts is a must try. Just make sure they are fresh made.
I totally agree about Branson Center Stage, sad to hear it’s closed. Looking forward to trying Danna’s BBQ and Arnie’s Barn. Suggest Billy Gail’s for breakfast and Pickin Porch (get the pulled pork nachos).
Not one person in the comments mentioned turkeys brewery. If you're reading this go there asap ask Shane or stormy for the pretzel with beer cheese sauce. I'd move to branson just for that.
My family was just down in Branson we ate at this place hungry hunters and boy was there food delicious we will be definitely going back again plus we love to support small businesses as well
I went to chateau grill (I think that was it, i wasn't very old, like 7 or 8) a good number of years ago and they sold grilled quail (!!!) It was delicious!
Do you have a recommendation for someone who wants to really dress up for a meal? It's silly, but we changed from a cruise honeymoon to closer in Branson and I really want to be able to wear the dress I’d bought for formal night 😂
we go to Branson a lot have ate at a lot of places mexican food there is a good place across from the Imax sits on the hill real good . you want good BBQ Danna's is good Breakfast a good local hang out great breakfast in down town Branson clockers cafe
We have been to Branson six times, and we are getting ready to go again at the end of the month. Our favorites are India Clay Oven, Billy Gail's, and Dimitris. We also love the brunch at Ketter Center. So worth the price. :) We have been to Danna bbq and Vaskens that you mentioned and they are also great! Thanks for some new ideas.
We eat at Billy Gail's every time we come to Branson. Best Atmosphere, best breakfast and service too! That's why there's always a line at the door. I'm getting hungry thinking about it.
Went to Getting Basted. It was the worst BBQ I ever had. I mean it was still good but meat cooked on a stove top is good. And that's exactly what it tastes like. But meat on a stovetop doesn't cost $85
One of my favorite places is The Outback Steak & Oyster Bar. Don't know if it's still there. (Australian Mudball-deep fried ice cream smothered in Chocolate, deep fried Alligator & Lobster)

Amy is right, John. Pho is pronounced "FUH" and there's actually an inflection at the end of the word like you're asking a question. Also, why are you being so selfish with the mic? It looks like it's pointing at you and we can hardly hear Amy. LOL

I know where that chapel is, on F hwy.
Thank you for the video! I've been going to Branson for 20 years and haven't heard of some of these restaurants
Level 2 is amazing! Highly recommend it! Also how is Famous Dave's only an honorable mention? They have the best ribs in Branson hands down!

Glad you enjoyed it! We haven't tried it yet, but we need to get over there to check it out!
@@TPF so I drive down from Springfield again today and ate at Dannas BBQ ans Mr Gs pizza. Both were amazing. Love your videos. God bless y'all

Keeter center, Great seeing the college kids learning the restaurant business there. Sunday brunch is fabulous. Food from around the world.
Danna’s is amazing! We love love love it!
A long time ago I use to love to go to the Rails on a Friday night for frog legs and walleye
College of Ozarks or Level 2??? hmm
Taking my daughter out before she goes to college. Gotta make reservations soon
Either would be a great choice!

Top of the Rock?
I went to Top of the Rock. Osage
Food was average at best and overpriced but it was quite an experience

Could you do some best restaurants in Springfield MO which is just a short drive up 65 from Branson?
Good idea...we'll keep that in mind!
Thank you for posting this during our time of prayer and fasting. Really appreciate it! LOL
We are getting you ready for rejoicing and feasting! Think of all the options we've given you!! (I'd recommend Hurts Donuts for your first meal.)

I've only been to one restaurant on your list, and that was Danna's BBQ, the Branson West location. Looks like I need to venture out a little bit lol!
Pickin' Porch Grill! At the Branson Craft Mall. Their burgers are better than Billy Bob's Dairyland.
Better than Bob's. I doubt that.

Nope where is it at. I'm going to now.
@@vegasstoker9647 It's inside the Branson Craft Mall on 165. Porch Burger is their signature burger
Pickin’ Porch is our top pick in Branson. The food is sensational.
can you tell me the name of the family place that is $1.75 on the weekend. i couldn’t understand the name.
Qdoba had $1.75 kids meals on weekends, but it's been a few months since we were there, so you might want to call to double check.
we go to Branson a lot have ate at a lot of places mexican food there is a good place across from the Imax sits on the hill real good . you want good BBQ Danna's is good Breakfast a good local hang out great breakfast in down town Branson clockers cafe
The way she pronounced pho was correct.

Hey John & Amy what’s the name of your business forgot 2 ask if you don’t mind answering thanks 🙏
Escape Code and The Axe Game 🙂

I ate at falls Creek catfish and steakhouse a few years ago and the food was bad
We like Botanas for Mexican
When you put Hurts Donuts on the list, I was floored! The only donuts worth eating are St. Georges!!! Hurts Donuts are not GOOD.
We will have to try St. George's!
Agreed. Hurts SUCKS! They aren't even average so far as donuts go. Also overpriced
Never heard of St Georges. Thanks for tip
You both are very entertaining
Great video!!! But those were not tips.
Why the lighting of a horror movie?
Great choices!
I like the Catholic story tip thing, that was good!
We used to love Hard Luck Diner, but the last couple of years the quality of food has greatly diminished.
We like Florentina’s!
So are you reviewing restaurant you’ve never eaten at
All our top ten we've eaten at many times!
Gettin' Basted is MUCH better than Danna's. We're from Kansas City and it's much truer to that style of BBQ.
We tried Gettin' Basted a few months ago. Love it!
Farmhouse? No. Everything else good choices and thank you!!
Why not Farmhouse? We always go there.
Too much talk please list restaurants lost track content due jibber jabber went #4 to 7 trying fast forward. Leave review out we can look up ourselves.
Been dying to try the chicken place. Bob's Dairyland is the best. Fallcreek steak place overrated. Drefts is an awesome place to eat.
Love Billy Bob's Dairyland!!
Way to corney.

Our favorite places are Charlie's Steak, Ribs, & Ale and Montana Mikes
Oh man I will never go to Charlie's again i got so sick after eating there and the service was awful!
Can't hear anything when Amy is talking --- move the mic or speak up, please
come on up to lake ozark and remember to visit the state parks paul at lake ozark state park look me up folks
that big chicken food is awful the sausage is swimming in grease replace that with THE STAR BAR AND GRILL
We haven't eaten there, will have to check it out!
Share the microphone! Man is loud and she is almost inaudible. Great reveiw otherwise.
Thanks for the feedback. Thankfully, we have updated our mics since then. 🙂
Grand Country Buffet is HORRIBLE!!!
Fat Daddys, Forsyth MO 30 mins out of branson, best bbq. Billy Bobs has good tenderloin sandwiches.
Arnie’s barn is a very nice place but the food is absolutely disappointing!
They have amazing guac and street corn, though!
TPF! Travel Adventures the corn was good .
Branson is a superspreader. Wide open, No masks.
Pop a dog.....great for lunch
