I grew up in a Godless house and my parents called Christians Jesus freaks. My best friend went to a Lutheran church but never invited me. Now, I watch Pastors online and the ones that I most appreciate are the independent fundamental kjv baptist churches. I am grateful for believers on UA-cam. I have been saved for about 30 years.

I was leaning toward the NAR and went to visit Bethel Redding, CA. I grew up Baptist, got saved age 5 and have served Jesus for years. In the last 20 years the NAR has crept into the church - many denominations. I've gone to a few 'revivals'... but around 2017 I went to Bethel in Redding, CA. I was so conflicted. Seriously, the 'prophet' Kris Valloton came out of no-where. I didn't even know who he was. He prayed for me and prophesied over me and then disappeared. Someone next to me said, 'do you know who that was?'. I said, 'no'. I kind of started shaking a little, but asked the Lord to stop that,. I felt like it was wrong and also I'd seen the Kundalini spirit on people in my world of massage therapy and I felt it was kind of like that maybe. I went home and prayed about this and God told me to study Balaam. I will say this sermon is RIGHT ON!! As I've studied Balaam (God protected me that time and showed me his protection as He protected the Israelites that time) and told me to RUN, to not let Balaam into my life, like the Israelites did down the road. Seriously, if you are involved in Bethel Redding or following anyone who runs with Bill Johnson - RUN AWAY!!!!

Man you’re so right. My buddy was going to bethels school is super natural ministry and I was paying his tuition. Something didn’t feel right about it so I went out there for 2 weeks just to see for myself so I got to see it all for myself.. super creepy.. not at all of God…what was strange is I felt so “free” in one of their services and what I mean by that is I felt as if I could have danced naked and before God and no one would have cared. Needless to say it was not freedom I was feeling. It was deception. So glad you came out of that! God bless you brother!

He was clouded about Jesus, and was denying his power. I prayed asked the Lord to teach me this morning, your video was in the #1 spot. This lesson goes hand in hand with my lessons this month. I'm so glad this came up on my feed. I know I'm a bit late in watching, but I've not long found "Truth is Christ/2" and catching up on the teachings and findings. I'm amazed at the videos and what I'm learning and I praise God for leading me to the videos I've watched because He knows I learn best by watching and not by reading alone. I read along with my KJV that I bought in August 2021 as a new Born Again. I didn't know anything about Bibles and what's good and what's not but purchased a Red Letter one. I'm so happy I've managed to listen to God's whisper. He has changed my life and the more I'm on this path and listening, the more I'm loving Him that saved me from the 2nd death ( I now believe I will never die, not even in this world and it's all thanks to God) Amen 🙏 Just a few moments in my early life that has now made sense to me that God has always been coming after me. I grew up near a road called, "Balaam Street" in the East End of London. It was very near Trinity Church. My family moved to a different town when I was 6.5 years old and I attended a school called, "Godwin Infants and Juniors", I dated a guy when I was in my late teens who was in a band called, "Ransom" and now my Doctors surgery is called, "The Trinity Medical Centre", my cousin was in a biker group called "The Sevens", our water company have it's logo called, "Living Water",. All this happened before I was saved and knew God. I didn't go looking because it fit. It was all around me trying to wake me up. When I started to read the Bible from December 2020 (before I was saved) it all started to fit together and I've been amazed at the things around me in my life, past and present that have references in the Bible. I'm truly thankful to God for not giving up on my soul and for having patience in waking me up from the world to being His child. Amen 🙏 and on a 'silly note' my first name starts with an "A" and my last name ends with an "O" 😁🥰 I've been worried about walking away from people, church things that aren't fitting in with scripture and my church leaders telling me to not read the KJV, but to read a NLT version given to me on my Baptism. It didn't sit right within me. I can't put my finger on it but I now don't attend church every week, I have fellowship with other Christians when I feel I need to because I do spend my day with God, and as someone listening to others who go every week, or help out at church, I find it plays on my mind if I'm doing enough for Him. I don't make it known to others what I do in private for God as I believe that's between Him and I. It's just a bit confusing for a newbie like myself. My grandpa definitely leaned away (actually was fallen) from God. But days before he died of cancer he repented and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. That cantankerous selfish old man died at peace. I attribute that to his mother my great grandma. She was a godly woman who I'm sure prayed desperately for her children. Never never got to see his repentance, but it was her faith and perseverance that saved him.
Preach on! Even people in independent fundamental Baptist churches can be lured away with “attractive shiny objects”. We all need to hear these warnings.

All I can say is AMEN!!! Thank you for posting this. I was teaching the same thing Pastor Zorn is against false teachers including Bethel, Hillsong and Elevation, and I was severely reprimanded by the pastors and elders. We were very involved in that church but we left.
When Jesus came in my life I that same day opened up my Bible and read and read and every day I read still I read it , in the beginning on UA-cam I would watch videos of all kinds and with prosperity message ect and the Holy Spirit clearly showed me one by one which was “Balaam” In a nut shell read the word of God with all your heart, look for God love God with all your heart and listen 👂 the Holy Spirit will unveil what is of the Spirit of God and what is not.
Personally I have always leaned towards the loud and obnoxious preacher that slams me with the truth........ right between the eyes! That was fantastic! My compliments to the chef, God Almighty, my Savior Jesus Christ & The Holy Spirit that dwelleth within me
That’s great! I had some young people visiting our church once, on their way to Bible College and they all had given their testimonies. Many of them came from broken homes, some drug and alcohol addiction and worse. The. This going women played the piano and sang a beautiful song and said this, “when I was asked to give my testimony I was nervous because my dad is a pastor, I grew up in a good Christian home, actively involved in the Church and I ward all these wonderful testimonies of God saving people from these horrible and awful backgrounds. I thought, I don’t have much of a testimony because I grew up with a dad who is a pastor, loving Church and God…and then it hit me. The Holy Spirit reminded me that while God can save so many out of drugs, abuse, pain and brokenness…God saved me FROM it. Many are saved out if it, but God saved me FROM it.” She said she realized that God’s Grace protected her from all of that sinfulness of this fallen world. Many of us grew up in church, for me, it’s been my whole life. Sometimes we take for granted being protected and shielded at a young age from this world. Anyhow, God bless you.

I needed this sermon today. I’ve been praying about different pastors, rabbis, etc., that I would watch on UA-cam and was feeling that their sermons were ‘off’ so I would go to another one and everything in this sermon explains why the sermons were ‘off’. I was praying God would lead me to someone that preached what I needed to hear & was from a man of God. I enjoy your channel and can’t thank you enough for sharing this sermon.

You are blameless in his eyes if you hold the truth of his crucifixion you will sin no more is not a statement of your actions it is how you are viewed in the lords eyes because his words made you clean you are without sin and are redeemed forever hold onto the faith of Jesus Christ and his words and you will never be alone or without hope of salvation
It is a good attitude to have, only be careful not to let the enemy discourage and condemn you when you do inevitably sin. Repent and begin again when you do.....

Powerful message. My only issue is judging based on the window dressing. Yes, many churches who have modern music are exactly like he pointed out here. However, many stick to doctrine that falls exactly in line with biblical teaching, aren't afraid to talk about controversial worldly issues, and don't excuse sin. If I approached this in the same way I could call out Baptist churches, many like the one I attended in my youth, that have no actual passion for the lord. Churches where their congregation mumble sings hymns for ten minutes as if they would rather be anywhere else, punch the clock Sunday and Wednesday, go out into the world and commit their sins every other day, and then hide them when they are around the "church people". They pretended holiness on Sunday because they knew they were supposed to strive for holiness. This is the church world I grew up in. There was no "dancing before the lord with abandon" like King David. David's wife reprimanded him for his lack of decorum for the way he celebrated God. Yes, the doctrine of Baalum is a serious issue in the American church, but there are seven churches, and other than one they are all called out for serious failings, and all of them exist in America today, but I only see this one being called out on a regular basis. I'm just saying, just because a congregation puts on their Sunday best, avoids modern worship music, and appears church-y, doesn't mean they aren't falling into one of the bad church categories pointed out in revelation. I would even say there are no churches that don't have a healthy mix of the "saved" and "unsaved" in their pews.

For me, I left the church roughly 20 years ago for the same reason: saw too much of the devil inside -- I was a member and employee and it broke my heart to see and feel the devil, out and bold in my church. If I may share the reasons I departed (1) realizing the father of the church secretary's upcoming birth was Reverend (who was married with 3 or 4 children at the time); (2) the Soup Kitchen staff that held those they were feeding in contempt to the point of rudeness; finally (3) that they were deplorable landlords. A "blizzard" has been forecasted and one of their properties had no oil for their furnace. I'm calling everywhere trying to get them oil when Reverend finally arrives. I told him what was happening. To my complete surprise the man says "Stop getting so excited. They've been through this before. They'll be fine." And that was it. I returned to my office and asked God for permission to leave: "You're not here" I cried. Literally cried. I am waiting with Him to go to the church He wants me to attend. Your 30 years makes my 20 feel much better. Thank you very, very much. I can continue to 'patiently' 🙏🏽

Balaam was a man that heard from God and prophesied but was using his gifting in a wrong way..to make money!
I would say before I hear this sermon that the doctrine of Balaam is twisting of God's precious Word.
All I can say is AMEN!!! Thank you for posting this. I was teaching the same thing Pastor Zorn is against false teachers including Bethel, Hillsong and Elevation, and I was severely reprimanded by the pastors and elders. We were very involved in that church but we left.

When Jesus came in my life I that same day opened up my Bible and read and read and every day I read still I read it , in the beginning on UA-cam I would watch videos of all kinds and with prosperity message ect and the Holy Spirit clearly showed me one by one which was “Balaam”
In a nut shell read the word of God with all your heart, look for God love God with all your heart and listen 👂 the Holy Spirit will unveil what is of the Spirit of God and what is not.
Personally I have always leaned towards the loud and obnoxious preacher that slams me with the truth........ right between the eyes! That was fantastic! My compliments to the chef, God Almighty, my Savior Jesus Christ & The Holy Spirit that dwelleth within me

That’s great! I had some young people visiting our church once, on their way to Bible College and they all had given their testimonies. Many of them came from broken homes, some drug and alcohol addiction and worse. The. This going women played the piano and sang a beautiful song and said this, “when I was asked to give my testimony I was nervous because my dad is a pastor, I grew up in a good Christian home, actively involved in the Church and I ward all these wonderful testimonies of God saving people from these horrible and awful backgrounds. I thought, I don’t have much of a testimony because I grew up with a dad who is a pastor, loving Church and God…and then it hit me. The Holy Spirit reminded me that while God can save so many out of drugs, abuse, pain and brokenness…God saved me FROM it. Many are saved out if it, but God saved me FROM it.” She said she realized that God’s Grace protected her from all of that sinfulness of this fallen world. Many of us grew up in church, for me, it’s been my whole life. Sometimes we take for granted being protected and shielded at a young age from this world. Anyhow, God bless you.

You are blameless in his eyes if you hold the truth of his crucifixion you will sin no more is not a statement of your actions it is how you are viewed in the lords eyes because his words made you clean you are without sin and are redeemed forever hold onto the faith of Jesus Christ and his words and you will never be alone or without hope of salvation
It is a good attitude to have, only be careful not to let the enemy discourage and condemn you when you do inevitably sin. Repent and begin again when you do.....
God the Father and Jesus the Son are one and the same being brother you can just say you wanna make your God Jesus Christ proud. Colossians says in Him dwelleth the fullness of the Godhead bodily. One person one God brother. Just thought to clarify since you’re making it sound like they are separate persons.

Powerful message. My only issue is judging based on the window dressing. Yes, many churches who have modern music are exactly like he pointed out here. However, many stick to doctrine that falls exactly in line with biblical teaching, aren't afraid to talk about controversial worldly issues, and don't excuse sin. If I approached this in the same way I could call out Baptist churches, many like the one I attended in my youth, that have no actual passion for the lord. Churches where their congregation mumble sings hymns for ten minutes as if they would rather be anywhere else, punch the clock Sunday and Wednesday, go out into the world and commit their sins every other day, and then hide them when they are around the "church people". They pretended holiness on Sunday because they knew they were supposed to strive for holiness. This is the church world I grew up in. There was no "dancing before the lord with abandon" like King David. David's wife reprimanded him for his lack of decorum for the way he celebrated God. Yes, the doctrine of Baalum is a serious issue in the American church, but there are seven churches, and other than one they are all called out for serious failings, and all of them exist in America today, but I only see this one being called out on a regular basis. I'm just saying, just because a congregation puts on their Sunday best, avoids modern worship music, and appears church-y, doesn't mean they aren't falling into one of the bad church categories pointed out in revelation. I would even say there are no churches that don't have a healthy mix of the "saved" and "unsaved" in their pews.

I saw it in my church and I left that church. It took me 30 years to find my new church. I just left it up to Jesus to guide me. Amen
I'm so glad to see your comment. For me, I left the church roughly 20 years ago for the same reason: saw too much of the devil inside -- I was a member and employee and it broke my heart to see and feel the devil, out and bold in my church. If I may share the reasons I departed (1) realizing the father of the church secretary's upcoming birth was Reverend (who was married with 3 or 4 children at the time); (2) the Soup Kitchen staff that held those they were feeding in contempt to the point of rudeness; finally (3) that they were deplorable landlords. A "blizzard" has been forecasted and one of their properties had no oil for their furnace. I'm calling everywhere trying to get them oil when Reverend finally arrives. I told him what was happening. To my complete surprise the man says "Stop getting so excited. They've been through this before. They'll be fine." And that was it. I returned to my office and asked God for permission to leave: "You're not here" I cried. Literally cried. I am waiting with Him to go to the church He wants me to attend.
