This is what I did, I bought a couple of axial tensioners, they have a large hole, with a bolt and a nut, on the end for adjustable wheel alignment and chain tension, and prevents the wheel from moving, mine came off of a Yamaha xs, 400 I bought used from ebay, and solved multiple issues, keeps the wheel center the drive side of the rim, we're all the tork is, now can't move, and is much safer. And keeps the chain from jumping, I also I loosen the motor mounts, when the chain is on, (tight and rolled the bike, and let it align itself, then tighten engine bolts, if you don't hear chain noise , or popping you are good to go

This is all good advice!!! I finally got it figured out and it's one on my favorite bikes to ride now!

Your engine is falling . Tighten them . Also you dont need the tensioner . Go straight from the sprocket to engine . Take like four links out i had the same problem the engine kept falling because bolts was not tight enough . Peace

Don't give up, took me about a year to get my 49cc -stroke right. But when you finally get it right it's sweet. It's almost maintenance-free, and hasn't left me stranded once this season but, it took a lot of aggravation to get to that point.

@@twowheeledadventures A good mountain plate isn't as easy to get as you would think. I ordered one from gas bikes and no matter what I did I couldn't get it to work with a Cranbrook. I even cut it down on both ends. Believe it or not ended up going back with the bike berry one. And swapped out some of the mounting hardware with stuff I found at the hardware store. But the night transmission from gas bikes has been good to me but it's flipping expensive, and really wide( just barely got everything to fit with the cranks and the motor.)

@@mjsmjs7905 well that makes me a bit nervous cuz I just ordered one from Amazon.
Here's hoping that it actually works!

@@twowheeledadventures if all else fails the bikeberry will work if you swap out some of the hardware, I think gas price just send me whatever the hell they had laying around I think the one they sent me was really made for a 79cc for a bicycle with an enormous frame. I also end up sticking with the arch tensioner but, made some modifications basically I'm just using the bracket.

On some of my builds i use a torsion tensioner ( rubbex) with the idler wheel from the kit.
You will have to make brackets to fit.
    Make : ROSTA, Swiss made.
You are going to have to surch for it, may find it at your local Engineering Supply store. ( Unfortunately i cannot help you as i do not libe State side).
The tensioner can be adjusted on the m6 bolt to attain the tension of the chain that you need.
You will always have the chain running tight/slack, even if you are minimizing the runout of the rear sprocket.
Good luck. Waiting to see this issue resolved.

You may have movement of the engine causing the chain to come off.
Move your camera to the down tube, so that it is looking at rhe engine, while riding.
Tip: Use duct tape for rim tape.
Measure the inside width of the rim and cut to size. Find something, even a broom handle, to wind the tape onto as you cut to size.

@@twowheeledadventures your motor mount is probably cracked. I had one of those kits. I welded everything! Make sure your using locktite on the motor bolts also! If you got a welder or a friend with one then weld the mount to the frame and the area where the bolts are on the side of the mount.

O motor não estava bem alinhado ou frouxo . Ou também o motor saiu do lugar etc... . Sugestão! :: Antes de sair tem que testar por perto de sua casa para nao acontecer isso é um processo que requer paciência.

hi is the chain tensioner tightened? And does the chain fall down? So it's probably the rear rosette needs centering.
