Yeah, the cat looked so scruffy I think it was too tired to put up a fight. Assuming they're a stray and had a home since they were so chill and didn't look to be at death's door.
I've seen feral cats so weak from illness they never put up a fight and allowed themselves to be picked up and put in the carrier to go to the emergency vet
