He’s skimming his hand across that wall of water, touching it as it envelopes him! Using the force and powerful kinetic energy of that wave to propel him out of the tunnel. I never have surfed, nor am I inclined to being in my 60s, but MAN, what an experience of a lifetime that must be!!!
I grew up surfing SoCal and getting barreled is so awesome! I’m 62, live in Oklahoma, so, unfortunately, I don’t surf anymore. Cloudbreak has been on my bucket list for years. My best friend went a few years back and said that wave is intense. The water is only about 2’ deep in front of the wave. Coral reef below! This guy makes it look easy! And, yes, that was one of his “waves of a lifetime”!
With cameras these days you get to experience things you’d never have imagines from other people’s point of view.. This was a view that only surfers would experience
I really envy these guys. They get each minute more fun that I will ever get in a lifetime. True connection with nature and the power of the waves. Great video thanks for sharing!!
I was surfing alot in my young times and i will never forget this time. I. Also did alot of diving. Now i got 2 young kids and they bring me my memorable moments. The thing is, just enjoy the moments, even if they are not spectacular. Live in the moment and enjoy!
I doubt I will ever experience this but my god it's incredibly amazing! It's almost mind-blowing how anyone ever even imagined trying this. Thank you for sharing with all of us who may never do it ourselves!
Mind blowing. Beautifully captured. From someone whose biggest wave was 5-6 foot, thank you for showing me what a big wave would feel like to surf... without having to risk life and limb.
Only got one chance to be in waves like this in my life. Around 1990 at Bellows beach on Oahu of all places. I only had my boogie board with a couple of friends but the break lasted a good three hours. Unreal feeling like your being pushed 30 mph or so.
I would never have known the beauty of the waves without your help. Thank you very much. The sound of those breaking waves would have made it more spectacular!
Tried surfing once at Keria, I was told to throw the board (it was a small board) as a monster wave crashes I wasn't told to throw it the side, - straight back in the face down to the bottom, rolled around a few times, smashed again. - They were able to follow my out by the blood on the sand. Love it then but not for me now....... - still have sea water coming out my nose, that was 20yrs ago!!

I know. Watched thousands of clips. This was epic.

No, this is a view noone would experience since surfers don't lay on their board looking at another surfer standing on the same board.
But after watching this have you really experienced it?
Bambuzzsprosse, absolutely! 😂 your comment made me laugh! 🍺 we know what he meant even if it was not correct. 😜 great video though 🍺

When you see a guy surfs a wave like this it feels like you've never surfed.
I think everyone should ride a great wave at least once in their life. It truly is a religious experience!
Of all the countless hours of surf footage I have ever watched in my life, this is one of the best videos by far
This felt like I was in there too. So extra special to feel this especially since I am disabled. Thank you so much!
I really envy these guys. They get each minute more fun that I will ever get in a lifetime. True connection with nature and the power of the waves. Great video thanks for sharing!!
Why envy? You are able to learn to surf and make quality of life changes in your own life. Hope you're doing well though
Yeah they have more athletic ability and guts than i ever will.

Yea you look like a bit if a nerd, I doubt you can even swim in a kiddies pool with that giant head of yours weighing you down
This is probably the best pov videos i have seen, at one point you can see the sky and clouds through the lip of the barrel.
Damian Benson you clearly haven't watched many pov's
Who is this the POV of?
POV would be mounted on his head or a mouth piece lmao
To all those who know better; it's the cameras point of view.
Its still a "POV" brah, just not the surfers.

That's just wicked, almost makes me wanna be in that curl, ALMOST!! Beautiful, thank you for sharing
It is almost spiritual in its beauty- archetypal, immortal. An absolutely beautiful clip. Thanks for sharing it!

Wow 😮 Freaking awesome 🤩 one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen!!! Thanks for taking us with you!!
Its got to be so incredible going through a perfect tunnel like that in real time
I will never do anything this cool in my entire life. Just wow.
The view inside the wave looks enchanting 😊❤
0:19 is my expression for the whole ride
At 64 years old, I can't even swim. What an "Amazing" feeling that must be. Like Thelma said to Louise...I feel Really "Awake"! 😲😲😳😳👍👍
As a kayak fisherman, we are out on the water on opposite days lol. I'll just appreciate your guts from calmer waters.
I can't remember the last time I felt so jealous! Beautiful.
So epic👍 HOW THE HELL CAN U POSSIBLY GIVE THAT A THUMBS DOWN???
@Charles Ross musta been the debate Dems. Every one of those fools are insane😲
WOW... That is absolutely beautiful my friend. What a wave. And what an experience that must have been.
Thanks for inviting us into your surreal dram world
I can see how this can be addictive
His OMG smile toward the end is great
Amazing film. Beautiful. Great surfing too.
0:55 hi jellyfish.... Bye jellyfish
does it come into frame at like 0:59?
nyrbsamoht yea
Cant be. Jellyfish are more transparant and prefer calmer water, not waves. That was more likely a piece of trash plastic
POShorebreak oh yeah lol
Gabriel Bergman jellyfish can't really locomote that well. They get caught in waves all the time and get washed up on shore.
this one moment where all fits together. amazing
Incredible! This is so beautiful
I'm stunned by the beauty of it.
This is so amazing , he has done it so well 👍
Uau que sensação incrível
Such a great video dude! Thanks for showing..
This is so ridiculously cool
Top tip. Take the headphones off and stick a couple of shells to your ears. It's just like you're there!
wow shoutout to the cameraman, incredible balance
Is it just me hoping a great white shark would kindly appear to make the video legendary😂
awesome POV. Great footage!
Far out.
Stunning, and terrifying.
