I don't think that the next mario kart game will have only 4 retro cups, because there were 8 games before that which means that there will be only 2 tracks from every game, which is 1/8. This is very small.
@@vot_mos the number of retros from each game doesn't have to be even, but at least 1 track from each previous game could return. There's a total of 22 non-Wii U tracks which haven't been remade yet. And I am confident that the retro course selection in the base game of the next Mario Kart will focus on those last remaining 22 non-Wii U tracks plus the 20 non-crossover Wii U tracks but that's for the base game. Tracks remade in previous games can return in DLC but are very unlikely to be in the base game.
Wow! Just wow! the clouds are there, the BG stars are there and part of the racing course, the details that made this course unique is all present! What a great remake seriously!
This is exceptionally so good I can’t decide if I like this version or the beta one they made in the Mario kart Wii I will say u did better then Nintendo
My only problems with this track is the sound balance, the sound effects of the fireworks and Thwomps are just way too loud. I also wish there were more halfpipes but considering how the official team changed Sky Garden I wouldn't put it past them to change Rainbow Road drastically as well.
The only thing that would make this better is if the title card said GBA instead of SNES. This track looks so amazing; if you told me that this was in the vanilla game and I didn't know, I would probably believe you
I wish Nintendo added this along. It makes me wonder why Nintendo is shunning fan media even if it’s the best out there…and constantly the fan made stuff is better then the official tracks.
I love the added floating blocks around the track, gives it that retro GBA feel while fitting with the theme.
This is probably what it would look like if it the last Lightning Cup track for Mario Kart 9
Hopefully!
@@Aloksbilit’s definitely coming in the next game, they’ve been remaking rainbow roads in the order of their release (7 got snes, 8 got n64)
@@mashedspudand because Wii and 3DS were remade in Tour, Wii U Rainbow Road will follow DS, unless they decide to make new remakes for Wii and 3DS.

if gba rainbow road was in tour, probably will look like that
Yeah, But It Wouldn't Have Thwomps Lying Around Like That
Do You Think Super Circuit, Double Dash, And DS's Rainbow Roads Are The Only Rainbow Roads That Have Never Returned As Retro Tracks?
I think in the next mario kart game
Like In Mario Kart Tour Or In The Next Installment In The Series?
@@miguelvasquez5361 next installment, i hope for it
This really fells a GBA retro track in modern times. Good job!
It should be illegal to remove the bouncy walls from the original.
If it gets added as DKC, they BETTER include the bouncy walls. It's really the one thing that sets GBA RR apart from the rest.
Well you can trick off the yellow walls if thats good enough
Rainbow Road GBA has the potential to be a great retro track if featured in the next Mario Kart.
This looks like a fever dream and I love it
This look so official, this track deserve to be in Mario kart 8 deluxe Booster Pass or the next Mario Kart, really.

This is a God tier custom track
This is incredible!
The Paper Mario castle is here? S-tier remake already.

Mario Kart 9 better give us this! I swear! That and GCN Bowser Castle!
So much bloom...
Where’s Bowser’s Castle?
Is in the front.
GBA rainbow road in mario kart 9
Amazing!!!!
I like that they used thwomps to replace the thunder clouds.
Hi Ryan, I hope you are reading this because you are giving credit to the wrong person. I made the music this mod is using.
Hi. I just added your music credit in the description. Apologies for not doing that earlier.
Thank you, I thought you were the creator of the mod and gave FatCatMusic credit for the music. My bad 😅 Great mod by the way!
Would have killed for this in MK8, but maybe next time?
Idk man all the Rainbow Roads that didnt make it in MK8 would have been awesome in it

0:54 what was that

*Useless.*
I would have preferred you to use the version made by Panman14.
This one is better and harder; it haves the border jumps!
Thank you for not skipping the narrow path like a dingas.

Nice
This doesnt have the same difficulty or shortcuts as the original
