Thank you so very much for your lovely comment! I am always so happy to hear that people are benefiting from these videos. It really means a lot to me! 💜💜
Thank you, and you're welcome lol. I love to play around on Dollar Tree finds. It's always fun to get to create without having to worry about messing up something that was a much more expensive item. 💜💜
As long as your clay is sealed with something waterproof, it should work good. My granddaughters have some air dry clay that they love to create with. Maybe I should get them to make something I can try to ink on lol. 💜💜
Hi Lorrie, I love the colours it looks beautiful just like everything you do. I have been told before by other alcohol ink painters and Tim Holtz that the best time of brush to use is a nylon type. Hope it helps. I think I will paint my bathroom soap dispenser using these colours they will match perfectly. Thank you.
Thank you for the compliment and the information! I will definitely be looking for some nylon brushes! I have no idea what the ones I used here are, except cheap lol. 💜💜
Lorrie, I'm not a professional by any means but what I use clamps to the side of my table or desk and is adjustable. I'll see if I can find a link. It's probably not what you have in mind, though. I love how your vase turned out with those nice, soft colors. Painting on ceramic is fun! I did a ceramic piggy bank that I got at Michael's (definitely not $1). One of my friend's birthday is coming up in April. I want to make her a mug and coaster with her initial. I'm going to seal with Crystalac. Have you tried that? It's a resin alternative. I haven't tried it yet, but I can't use resin anymore.
I found a goose neck type phone holder that I am hoping will work good. Just got it ordered today so hopefully I can be using it within the next week or so. I have not heard of Crystalac before. I'll have to look it up to see if I want to give it a try. I don't like working with resin, but I love the look of things finished with it. It would be nice to find a good and safer alternative! 💜💜
I have a crane phone holder that clamps to the counter height table behind my desk. You can also get goose neck holders too but they are difficult to change around on the fly. Attaching it to a different surface helps minamize shaking since it's the work table only that shakes. Hope that helps some. Of course that's if you film with your phone otherwise this comment is pretty useless 😂
Thank you so much for that information! I have been looking at some of the phone holders like you mentioned and am going to order one in the next couple of days. Lol And yes, I do video with my phone lol. Doesn't everyone anymore?! 😂 💜💜
I have not tried gesso on glass, so I am not sure about that. I think there is a possibility it might bead up some and not give you full coverage, but you would just have to experiment and see what happens. Sorry I can't answer that for you! 💜💜
Love it!❤
Your work is beautiful. I have learned so much from you. I appreciate your spirit of generostiy.

This is gorgeous and a great inspiration for me to try on the vases that don’t fit my tumbler..
I think it's gorgeous, too! Thanks for the reminder about checking out the dollar store.

Seeing the finished product... Bet you could do a faux birch look with blacks and grays... Might be getting out my spray paint soon lol

Thank you! Same to you! 💜💜
Alcohol and glues don't go together so that's probably why your paint brushes seem to be shedding
Could you use gesso instead of the rustoleum?

@@LorrieBrewer Thank you for your response. I might try it and see what happens
Use a Cotten ball
That is an excellent idea. I will give that a try the next time I am doing something like this! Thank you! 💜💜
