Dude, it's all arranged... can't you spot the differences in Terry signatures? I can count at least 3 different signed cards. Of course you wouldn't notice this watching it live (you can't replay) making it a great act performed by a great artist.
She had this back support thing on and next to the audience members left arm was a bar that attached to the back support on Heidi, basically saying her and Howie was in on it. Thats why the Audience member wasn't asked to completely let go of Heidi while Howie wasn't also holding her up and when Darcy waved under her back he had unattached the bar from the back support while bringing the audience members arm down with it to hide it. Sorry if it's confusing but I hope you understand it :)
It's always cool watching a "master at work" like Shin but I've always felt he's even better when he adopts his "silent assassin" approach & doesn't say a word during his act..... Simply letting his magic do his talking for him ☝️😆👍

I have seen hard tricks on Penn and Teller that are pure genious. Even Shin Lim managed to fool them because he is just so good at sleight of hand.
You need to watch "Now you see me". These tricks are good, but they're still tricks. There's only one person I've ever seen on these shows that I really believe was using magic. I'm still convinced he sold his soul to Satan, and I hope I never see him again.

I actually think he was the least impressive of them. The force he did with that box is something you can google and other magicitians have used it (check for instance Matt Edwards). The game of tic tac toe was also no randomness in after the two first moves. Any mindreading trick has an more impressive force. So to be honest, the reaction he got on that trick convinces me that in order to judge magic there must be one magician as a judge. Otherwise the least impressive tricks can get the most appraisal. He would never be able to come to Fool us (with expert magicians Penn & Teller as judges).

After seeing the first magic act. I just realized that literally every magic act that i've seen in AGT is pretty much similar. They ask the judges to pick stuff, they guess the stuff, they then show a past video clip of them guessing the stuff.
exactly it's rather fake because that format can be rigged and is only applicable in a talent show like that, e.g. in real life magician shows, this can't be done.
Yea the picking stuff isn't impressive - its just forced choices. The real slight of hand stuff like Shin Lim's act is more fun to watch, although the video editor didn't do as good a job here because they didn't edit out some of the more telling frames. For example it was super clear how Shin didn't put the card into the plastic sleeve the second time around, or tipped the cards out of the box as he was wiping the table in the end.
Ho now you got it wrong. Choice are 100% fair from judge perspective. They don't know about magical blackboard that has wifi and draw in less than 6 sec..
How the heck can ANYONE pick the 'best'?? These were all stellar performances....

After seeing the first magic act. I just realized that literally every magic act that i've seen in AGT is pretty much similar. They ask the judges to pick stuff, they guess the stuff, they then show a past video clip of them guessing the stuff.
exactly it's rather fake because that format can be rigged and is only applicable in a talent show like that, e.g. in real life magician shows, this can't be done.

Yea the picking stuff isn't impressive - its just forced choices. The real slight of hand stuff like Shin Lim's act is more fun to watch, although the video editor didn't do as good a job here because they didn't edit out some of the more telling frames. For example it was super clear how Shin didn't put the card into the plastic sleeve the second time around, or tipped the cards out of the box as he was wiping the table in the end.
Ho now you got it wrong. Choice are 100% fair from judge perspective. They don't know about magical blackboard that has wifi and draw in less than 6 sec..
