    Great presentation on unusual Dwarf Conifers .They were very popular in gardens design in the 1970 and 80 in Ireland but very rare now which is a pity. Biodiversity plants has taken over in the last few years which is also good but i think there is room for both in the coming years.

    I was hoping you would talk about the pine furthest right, looks like a foothill/grey pine.
    I hope to maintain one to keep it less than 30ft.

    2:02 What's that plume-like one on the left end of that row there? I like the faux miniature palm tree look

      That looks like a 2-year graft of a pine, so it would eventually have more branches than just the plume that you see. Gil is out of town, but I'll see if he can identify it for you when he gets back later this week. Thanks! - Jessi

      I spoke with Gil and that one is just Pinus strobus understock used for grafting. We do have some Pinus strobus varieties available on our website if you're interested, or you can email us at info@burklandgardens.com
