Destiny 2 will never replicate the feel and emotions Destiny 1 brought, and the little things like these strikes were all the reason I loved it.
It's really funny to see the Garrison dodge compared to Icarus Dash in D2. Twilight looks so slow.

I was so confused it was this strike at first. I always remembered the start of this strike being a little slow but you just did the skip and let your teamate do it 🤣I had a friend that would do the same but someone has to stay behind I guess. Maybe it will be a blueberry >:)

Still think this game is one of the best and most fun ever made (despite the amount of content we had at launch) sunk 10k hours into it before d2, d2 just doesn't feel the same. That titan movement damn I miss it

That was the most absolutely insane thing I've ever seen in D1. *EVER.* And I've been playing since the beginning. I've seen every raid solo'ed, the Tombship puzzle flown singlehandedly, and everything in between. But I just HAVE to know, what did the last guy do to kill the boss instantly; before even YOU got there?

My fast vault of glass from beginning to the end in d2 is 24 minutes and 50 seconds

If only Bungie made D2 for the fans of D1 to begin with. Even today the rough foundations of D2 still show themselves every now and again and the game as a whole just doesn’t have the same gameplay loops, balancing and mechanics I liked in D1.

I do love how saying 1:45 to complete the strike, however, the real time is up on the screen. Nice 28:14 to complete. Joining at the end doesn't count.

How bungie never nuked this chestplate from orbit is anyones guess. Its a shame they constantly double down to this type of gameplay with stuff like icarus and eager edge. Hypermobility has no place in shooters.

This is why movement shooters are their own category of shooters. If you don't like it then don't play movement shooters.

I do believe what's happening, k maybe not in this person's case, but I do see folk getting angry about players zooming forward in strikes leaving players far behind making those players think or assume it's not a team. It's a playground for that speed skilled player as in a non supportive selfish move.
I think a lot of things could be resolved in this game by better communication of the game by the company.
As in in game heads up info.
From a marketing standpoint for a for profit it's not always in that profit interest to be upfront.
