Google made an genius move in picking Kelvin to present Flutter. He's very handsome, charismatic and engaging. For once, Google beat out Apple in communicating the strength of a product without their over-the-top theatrics.
every technology has its place. it just ended its life when no one or so minimal of users use it. I think rn will only die if React die which is such a long way to go (in 5y I think React's still in high usage)

Not gonna lie, I'm using Flutter on android 'cause Dagger's crazy. Opaque black boxes that use streams, removing control and debuggability... the only reason MVVM is used on Android is to maintain state with the widgets. What's awkward is they're both Google. But I don't know a single developer who respects Dagger. We all just grin and move with it at the enterprise. But SwiftUI is insane too. The sheer amount of layers needed to make the fancy syntax work shows its face when integrating with camera or other api's. Then you learn it's infinite layers of objects using reflection on a language that's compile-safe and runtime-safe, effectively slowing your code as much as possible... when you could just use custom views in UIKit and write no code, as opposted to constantly pasting SwiftUI everywhere. Flutter's the face of sane. Thanks, positive team. Keep counterbalancing the other Google team. We need it. Seriously we do. I'm tired of interns deciding what's best for programming entirely on the fear of pointers. If you're scared of managing memory then... WHY DID YOU BECOME A CODER! The last 20 years have been shaped by people who are literally afraid of pointers... Dart may not have pointers directly but it becomes C++ and you're handling it perfectly. Keep on!
@En Hui Lim well it doesnt pack that much to be called a 3.0 , also i feel like they should've sticked with only ios and android, they could've improved by a lot, by supporting native api's like notifications without needing so find packages that are not maintained well or are broken, its cool for web and desktop and all but it isnt what we signed up for
Why they killed flutter fire website? Was soo simple to find stuffs about firebase, now we need to use the official documentation, that place is a mess.
We've heard from a few people who feel the same way, and we're planning to create some new pages on flutter.dev that will make it easier to find and read about the Fluttery parts of Firebase. If you have a second, can you give me a little more detail about what you liked about the previous site? What content there was the most useful?
Hey there! Thank you for the feedback! Can you please let us know what resources you were looking for and what made the docs more difficult to navigate? We can pass the information on to the folks working on the Flutter & Firebase docs to get things moving in the right direction!

I love how google treats flutter. Now look at react-native and see the difference. I guess facebook dreams about ditching rn.
