That was some good Sunday morning viewing Just. 👍 The new tent was radical change from your usual. 🙂 Seriously, I like and think that the new colour is better as it will be harder to spot at a distance due to it blending in well with the surrounding terrain (I have an old original Lanshan 1 and the fly is coloured in a kinda bright Lime green which can be seen from space). 🤣 I'm heading up Kinder twice this coming week. I've no idea where I'll be heading to for the first trip, but for the second I'll be heading to Crookstone Knoll. What was the water availability like when you were near the eastern end of Kinder?
That’s what I thought about the green Lanshan, the brown does seem to blend with Peak District. Water is ok I was at Fairbrook which flows pretty much all year and this was back in May when we had a dry spell. Around Crookstone theres Jaggers clough which should e good for water. Enjoy your trip.
It's lovely on the northern face of Kinder. If it wasn't for the planes overhead and motorbikes screaming up/down the A57 in Woodlands Valley it would be silent. Nice tent, I have an early spec Lanshan 1 in Yellow that might get used again before the years out.
