- A new poll from the University of Michigan finds inflation continues to take a toll. Researchers found that more than half of older adults cut back on everyday expenses in the last year, and nearly a fifth said they had trouble paying health-related costs in the past year.
Retirees who struggle to meet their basic needs are the ones who could not accumulate enough money during their active years to meet their needs. Retirement choices determine a lot of things. My wife and I both spent same number of years in the civil service, she invested through a wealth manager and myself through the 401k. We both still earning after our retirement.
How much did that cost taxpayers to come up with an obvious fact?
As a senior citizen myself I just bought a tent to live in when I loose my house and car…I just can’t eat cat food. Something has to give. If Trump gets elected I probably won’t have medical insurance.
@@kennethwilson8633 you do know that all the border crossers are getting put on your social security and Medicare to pay for them to be here for “free”. That your beautiful Biden bankrupting your “medical insurance”. Trump wants to put a stop to all of that and talks about protecting seniors from losing their benefits regularly. Don’t listen to the media, they lie to all of us, both sides. Listen to what the candidates actually are saying themselves, not what the media “says they said” because it’s all misdirection and manipulation.
