Adam Schefter On Rome Odunze’s draft stock:
“There are teams that have Odunze as the 2nd or even the top-rated wide receiver in this draft. I know it sounds crazy, but there are teams that love him. They look at these 3 elite wide receivers and teams have different preferences of each one. Odunze has a lot of support as a really clean prospect. He’s going to go in the Top 10, somewhere high, and if the Bears feel like they can’t afford to pass on a playmaker like that, I don’t think they’d have any issue adding another WR to give Caleb Williams even more help.”
Adam Schefter On Patriots plans at with the #3 pick:
“The calls are coming in. It's going to take a lot to move off this pick, they are going to listen. Can the Pats entertain the idea of trading back? One thing is certain, even if New England does trade back they want a QB here. They might jump around like Arizona did last year.”

“In the end, Jim Harbaugh is going to want to strengthen that line. As great as these WRs are, it's hard for me to imagine he's going that route this early when there will be the chance to address that position at some point in time.”

I don’t like the trade with the Chargers. I’d rather have a blue chip LT at 9 and a good receiver with the Panthers pick next draft. Good LTs are harder to get than good WRs
The 2025 class of tackles is stacked we can go get kaydon proctor in 2025 for our LT

Keep in mind that this years WR class might be the best we have ever seen. You can get a guy at #20 that would've been the clear WR1 in a lot of drafts. I would only take Joe Alt with #9, but he will be gone. Next years draft seems to be more loaded on defense

@@zonedout5998 Actually AD Mitchell was my second favorite haha. To me if we can get MHJ or Nabers would be nice but if it is down to Odunze or BTJ or Mitchell plus another pick I'd go that route. But having Moore I think BTJ can grow nicely into that wr2 role.
Also best way this happens is if McCarthy is still on the board at 9 and all the WRs are off the board.

Brian Thomas Jr and Adonai Mitchell are franchise WRs. They can be your Chad Johnson, Stefon Diggs, Marvin Harrison Sr, Jerry Rice, Steve Smith, Randy Moss, and DJ Moore. Just because they are not Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, or Metcalf size doesn’t mean they can’t be franchise WRs. It’s best to trade down and get future picks or this year’s picks. Then make a trade for Jackson Powers-Johnson or Graham Barton to play center. Best to get your QB, WR, and center at the same time. And better yet, Best QB, Top 5 WR, and Top 2 Center in this draft. Just makes damn sense. You have to start now to get your team better, especially since you have 1 or 2 years with your rookie QB trying to learn the NFL way. You have to get a full decent team on both sides to make it to the Super Bowl, let alone win it. 1 receiver ain’t going to take us there. We need more pieces.
Even if it’s not a great draft selection like others have mentioned, there are still players that can be better than our current players. At the end, you add talent, especially if they are better than what we have. That creates more opportunities for making plays. More plays made helps us win more. The goal is to make more plays than the other team.
I like BTJr a lot. As an X receiver he will be effective.

Next year’s pick from Carolina is going to be a premium, top 40 pick, which can land a real difference maker, so I wouldn’t trade it unless I was 100% certain about Harrison and wasn’t sold on Odunze at all (who IMO, will likely be around at 9).

MHJ + Caleb Williams would be absolutely insane. However, Odunze and Nabers are very close to him. And to be honest, that Carolina pick has the potential to become top 35, which is the ideal spot to pick up an underrated stud.
Joe Alt is going to be a great player 🎯, love Latham as well, lineman wins games
I stand by my preference, Joe Alt is such a physical monster I'd get him if there's a chance to trade the 2nd pick next years to get him.
2024 investments: #1 pick QB, HOF WR, RB, TE, OC. All depending on an Avg, O-line with issues. One injury and whole year is wasted. Trade up & draft Alt. Next chance to draft a top Left tackle wont be for 10 years.
If you have 3 potential 1000 yard yard receivers there is not going to be enough passes to go around and it could cause some jealousy, upset "throw me the damn ball" moments. Unless MHJ just falls in our lap I'd rather trade down a couple of spots and grab the needed Edge.

i’d be extremely happy if we got one of the top 3 WRs, but i feel like they’ll go Jared Verse at 9. EDGE is probably the biggest need on the team as of now and Verse is such a Matt Eberflus type of player.

NFC North is going to be 1. Lions, 2. Packers 3., Bears and 4th. Vikings.
The top 3 receivers in this draft are better prospects than any of the QBs.
1st+. MHJ 2nd. Bowers 3rd. Alt 4th. Nabers 5th. Odunze 6th. Williams
Cousins was a good QB before O'Connell. I think having WRs like Diggs, Thielen, Jefferson and Addison helped out more than O'Connell.
The difference with the scenario JJ Carthy may not get the stats but he is a proven winner in compared to Maye.
Bowers at 9th... Heck the Bears didn't need a QB either, but Poles manufactured a need. I wouldn't mind Bears another weapon for a young QB.

If Nabers, Odunze and Alt are gone, that means only 3 QB were selected and McCarthy and Nix will be available as trade bait, with 3 prime targets on 11-Vikings, 12-Denver, and 13-Raiders. Even the saints 14 and Colts 15 could be options. There is a great chance Verse, Latu or Murphy will be available. If McCarthy is there at 9 we could probably pry away a 1st and 2nd rounder.

It's funny how you mention the Vikings and Lions when the Packers only win one title per 21 plus years. They suck as well. Why did you exclude them as if they do anything outside of just win a bunch of regular season games. Beating the bears every year, just to get owned by the 49ers every year isn't something you hang your hat on. The Packers had an easy schedule last season.
