Hey! Love the video , i do acrylics but just about to get into gels & your video was so helpful, just a question, if I’m doing a biab base with a colour on top like you did, i can go straight on with colour on top of cured biab if it’s smooth if not I can just buff to make a smooth biab base then add gel colour ? X
Aw good I’m glad it was helpful for you! 💜 Yes if you’re Application is smooth you can go straight in with colour, if not you need to buff then can go in with colour, no need for another base or builder layer 😊 x
Hello, looking more into gel bottle atm and wondering as I do overlays with builder gel now (different brands) I would apply base, x2 colour then builder gel, buff then top coat. Would this work to do builder on top with gel bottle too?x
Does it matter what color biab we use and before applying a Getbottle gellak does we always apply a biab color? Sorry I'm trying to teach myself and am so confused as it always comes off ugly for me
Hey! Love the video. I’m looking into providing builder gel for clients. However I’ve heard of applying a thin layer of builder gel and then adding your colours. The colours do they have to be builder gel colours or could they be just your normal gel polish colours on top? Also would I need a base coat for my builder gel? Xx
Thank you lovely 💕 It depends which brand you are using but builder gels tend to come in neutral colours which you can use on their own - I would apply one thin layer then make your second layer thicker to create the strength. Or you can apply 2 reasonably thin layers - not too thin as builder gel is meant to be applied thicker! then apply a normal gel polish colour over the top in 2 layers as normal 😊 A base coat would depend on the brand you are using, some builder gels already have base coat built in, you would need to refer to the brand you are using guidelines 😊 Hope that helps! 💜
Hey, i haven't tried this as it wouldn't last as long as gel but i can't see why you couldn't do it. You would just apply the builder gel as normal, buff and wipe with acetone/alcohol then apply your polish 😊
Hey, they are professional only I’m afraid! If you’d like to purchase something similar to use at home I’d recommend the brand Aimeili which I have videos on on my channel. You can find their products on Amazon 💕
Make sure you have a decent size ball of gel right on the tip of your brush so that you can easily control it, use light pressure to float the gel down the nail so you are not creating streaks with your brush (this would create indents and make the gel bumpy) Hope that helps! 😊💜

Where are the curing times?
Curing times depend on the lamp you are using - refer to manufacturers guidelines 😊
Lady looks os beautiful! I will definitely be picking it up next time I place an order! Thanks for sharing :)
It really is, my favourite Builder! You’ll love it 🥰
Did you wipe before applying gel polish????

Nail The Basics this is perfect! Thank you very much!
Hey. Is it biab gel first then normal gel on top of that then a top coat? I got confused there! :)
Hey, yes thats right! BIAB then gel colour & top coat 💜
Hi is there a reason why you didn’t file lady before putting on colour? X
The application was already smooth so no need to refine 😊 x
Hey can you use normal polish/ top oat over the BIAB?

Hello. Is this brand hybrid or 100% pure gel formula ? Thank you
It's 100% gel 😊🌸
Nail The Basics just the gel bottles or the pots as well ?
All of their products are 100% gel 😊
Nail The Basics thank you so much for the info !
Youre welcome! 💜
Nice but would be more helpful to see what type of file to use at each stage
Hey! This looks like a great brand to use but it looks like they only sell to professionals. Can you order these for me?

@@NailTheBasics Thank you 🙂.
Love this!
Hey do you cure two nails at a time ?
Hey! Yes 2 nails at a time with builder gel 💕
❤
Do you have any tips for how you get is so smooth without having to refine?

Love it ❤️ teach me more
What else would you like to see? 💜
More waxing and nails😀

Why don't you talk through the video?
I left the video since I am seeking verbal instructions. This leaves out important application details.
In the title it says it’s the application, not a tutorial on how to do it
