Lol I’m glad I found your channel. I am much like you. Why spend 10 minutes on solid instructions when you could struggle with it for 6 hours figuring out out and breaking a few pieces
Thanks for this I got a set of Aux beam h7 leds for my Jetta. I had a similar set on my 05 Honda Civic lx. Love the video thank you for the correct info.
Phillips H7XULED bulb is now 1 piece and heat sync does not detatch from LED. Unable to fit OEM bracket onto bulb and therefore no longer locks into headlight unit slot.
I’m upgrading to sylvania H7 LED - do I need to keep the clip from the halogens that were in there stock? I’ve been going insane for 2 hrs trying to get these sylvanias to fit.
Nice video thumbs up for you bro! I seen a lot of videos on LED conversion but never on a Philips bulb good job 👏 but I have one question for you after you installed these bulbs did you get error light on your dash ? I installed a set of ALLA bulbs on my 2015 Jetta SE as soon as I turn on my lights I get the error light on my dash
I was told I would get an error light, but I did not with just installing the Philips in the low beam. I wonder if I had it in both low and high beam if I would get an error.
Yes, H7 bulbs are the ones for our VW's. Your right, Philips is very expensive I have some other options in the description that are cheaper, that I've used before.
There should only be one link that works for the Amazon.ca as the head light bulbs are not available on the Amazon.com I gave different options for Americans, but those are only available in Canada the last time I checked.
So sorry for the delay, here is the model number: Philips h7xuled I went to lordco to pick something up, the guy at the counter reminded me about the headlight bulbs. Let me know if this helps.
On wet pavement aftermarket LEDS create too much reflective glare. So many people using cheap LEDs with older cars are blinding opposing traffic with all the stray light leakagd. Not cool.
If it uses a H7 why would you try anything else

I put the Kadur H7 with fan LED bulbs in and they're AWESOME and are exact to halogen in all aspects to size and fitment!
Thanks so much for posting this. You nailed it, cant find this information easily
Thank you! Im glad it helped

H7 duel LEDs fit. Just delete the old high beam bulb and move the wires over. Run the ground to ground and the live wire to the 3rd prong on the LED
Guide me on where to get these lights
Really appreciate your time for this info, loads of help! ❤
Thank you! Glad it helped

Thank you for letting me know, I'll update the description.

I have a 2017 Jetta SE looking to put in LED lights H7 is correct ?? And don't want to spend a fortune I see you used Phillips on one of your videos

I'm hoping you see this, what did you do to the fuse box? These lights worked well for you? I mean after installation
I didn't have to do anything to the fuse box, and yes they have worked good since the install.
I just subscribed. Thank you Sir.
@Sibusiso Mbhele Welcome! Thank you for the support.
I'm glad I could help.
Thanks bro. I hate how small the area is for the headlights
Yeah, they are the worst!
@@SouthdownGarage I had to take the whole headlight out to get to the bulb. Smh
so, if you replace with phillips h7, there’s no high/low beam? only low beam is it?
H7 is a single filament bulb, there is only one for low one for high. The high beam is the same bulb.
Hey I’m from Canada which link should I use for my 2012 Jetta? They are around the same price.
There should only be one link that works for the Amazon.ca as the head light bulbs are not available on the Amazon.com

I installed LEDs but they keep giving me a warning light. Help, please.
You installed the Phillips LED and they are coming up with a warning light?
So what would you do to use hi beams?
Same lights. They are both h7's
Do you need an adapter for the high beams?
Did you have to buy adapters/ retainers or did you use the ones that the car uses
Just used the ones from the car, but as I found out later, not all led lights can work.
Will this fit my 2012 mk6 jetta se
Yes!
Low lights are H7 and highlights h11 ?
Low lights are only h7, as are the separate high beams. H11 won't fit
@@SouthdownGarage and the highlights ?
@@miguelarvizu227 I'm sorry, I don't know what the highlights are.
Can this fit a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta?
Does your 2017 have H7 bulbs?
Can you tell me the model number of the Phillips h7s please.
