now is the first layer that you press the htv for dark color fabrics the one you show at the beginning of the video in the green folder?
QUESTION: I was just wondering if you could remove the part of the HTV that should’ve been weeded out by using your mini heat press, or the tip of it if the area is very small.

May I ask What is that , that is covering the top of the heat press ?
Hello, Barbara,
I’m watching the replay just after 1:00 A.M., and noticed that your question had not been answered yet.
It’s a Teflon cover for heat press. It protects the platens from discoloration and scratches as well as provides the Teflon that’s needed for those times your garments require Teflon. Notice that she didn’t have to remove it when she pressed the sublimation part of her process. She simply placed butcher paper over the sublimation paper before pressing the image onto the HTV RONT SUBLIMATION HTV FOR DARK FABRICS.
The Teflon covers include both the top and bottom, and can be purchased from Amazon. Just be sure to order the correct size to fit your heat press. They are easily installed in seconds simply by stretching the attached elastic around the platens. Her covers are white; mine are light brown like the color of the standard Teflon sheets. They are very affordable and saves time by leaving them in place all the time. If you do get something on the, they wipe clean so easy.

yes..you can feel it. it's a thin layer. Not really thick.
