I just got one this week, ready to hook it up, and ready to throw my epson off a bridge lol. I have looked around hut not seeing anything, I prefer Cosmos ink, have you seen anything about refilling these cartridges? Also. Joann has the ink cartridges for purchase. And the 50% off coupon works on them
Lucky you! I can't get my hands on one. So expensive! especially when paying for my sons college. One day I will have a DTF printer, someday.... In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy your videos and put it out in the universe! Love your content! Blessings.

It's very pretty, I'm loving the bright color graphics on it .I'm a bright color fiend . Having 2 sub printers with max sz 8.5X11, I definitely need larger.The colors came out very vibrant. Great Video.
I have the printer and love it. The ease of use is great and I like that it preforms it's own maintenance. I have used it to print images for tee shirts and mugs so far. I have also used the legal size paper 8x14.
Really want to buy this printer, but the price on ink ,wow. How many prints you think you can get out of them ? . I know it depends, but more or less ?
I thought the same thing but it is so worth it with how the Epsons clog after no use in a week! So many issues with Epson that I took the splurge and bought the Brother. @@dhernandez1679

User manual says that it will print on Legal size paper, so up to 8.5 x 14. Oh and very important, it has a built in automatic nozzle cleaning feature to prevent the nozzles form drying up if not used on a regular basis.

The printer has a "mirror" option to check or uncheck in its dialog box. I keep it checked so I don't have to mirror my project in my design software.

Patrice is this printer easier to use than the SawGrass? SawGrass ink is more expensive. I have SawGrass and the Epson Ecotank

This printer does 8x11 and 8x14
Hope Hippo makes ink for this printer. $39 for just 1 cartridge is kinda pricey no matter how you look at it.
Joann has them. You can use the 50% coupon if its a little cheaper. I would prefer to refill with my own ink though, Cosmos is the best
$143 for 4 color pk. vs about $116 for Hippo (4) ink bottles which have many × the amount of ink in the cartridges. I was so stoked for this brother until my friend brought the ink price up... HAVE to use Brother cartridges or warranty is voided. Do the cartridges use less ink??
I converted 2 Epson 2720 printers it was a real waste of money!
Idon't sublimate enough and didn't realize they don't self clean.
Try print head cleaner the magenta usually clogs….. don’t know if the 2720 is a good sublimation printer 🤷🏽♀️ hope this helps

I spent this much on my Epson sublimation 8.5x11. There is no extra value to buy this one instead.
the only thing is that if something goes wrong with the Brother, you can use the warranty. The Epsons (minus the f170) does not have a warranty when sublimation ink is placed in it.

it's probably their brand of sublimation paper since it came with the machine. I most often use A-sub sublimation paper@@preallz2493
