Dear Leigha, you are my favorite yoga teacher. I just love your classes. every time I practice with you, my day becomes a better day! thank you so much! love you from far away...
That’s great to hear. And that’s how I feel about yoga too. Take 50% off your first 3 months of membership to my online studio at this link: www.Leighabutleryoga.com/youtube
I have tried three of your advanced yoga videos while I am overseas and they are absolutely the best of all the ones on the internet. You get right into business, which is awesome. Thank you for this amazing contribution to the yoga community. Namaste.
Thanks you so much for making this class available. You help me go places I never thought possible. All my body feels dynamic and rested at the same time. Such an awesome class!
You're my go-to. Your advanced IS advanced unlike 99% of the others. No chit-chats, lecturing, just quiet directions. Thx so much. Handstands w/out wall are my challenges, goal is to do it by next birthday, 71. Or maybe 72? haha. Each year I do more than the previous....yoga is the fountain of youth.
I LOVED this! I so wish you would post more videos with this sort of pace and degree of challenge. You are an absolute marvel to watch and though I am nowhere near your level, you are very inspirational and kind in your instructions.
This was quite challenging for me and I didn't flow nearly as smoothly as you did but I really enjoyed it. I especially like that you didn't edit out your falls. It makes it seem more acheivable to me now. Thank you.
Amazing as always! Im not quite able to do everyting yet but thats excatly what makes your videos the best ones for me, i keep on trying end at the end it comes! Love you!
Your flows are my favorite that I have found on UA-cam. I am obsessed with inversions and am so excited to find flows that incorporate them throughout the Vinyasa! :-) Thank you!
Didn't do this one for quite a while as I tried other advanced videos. This warmed and stretched me out more and had so many challenging poses for entire body. Loved it, thx so much.
you deserve a lot more subscribers than you have! and you just got another. :) your videos are phenomenal. it's hard to find advanced yoga videos on here. i'd love to see some more!
Rachel Bledsoe You just made my day, Rachel. Thank you!! Stay in touch. I am trying to carve out more time and room in my life to post more videos. Enjoy the day!
Ok, you are fantastic!! I love the options for advanced poses and transitions, but just as much, I love your calm encouraging voice! Thank you so much. I can't wait to try out your other videos!
I loved this one! I live in a small town in north of sweden, and there is no advanced classes around here. I wouldn't develop that much without videos like this. Thank you, you're awesome
Sooo beautiful....by far my favorite youtube yoga practitioner...her mesmerizing soothing voice...her flows...I practice with her at least 3 times a week... thank you for your generosity.
Leigha, I am surprised at how amazing you are. Your moves are literally flowing that I just watched you instead of practicing it myself. I couldn't take my eyes off for 47 min. Loves. Pi.
I'm sweating! This flow is so awesome, fun and liberating, it's one of the best sequences that I've ever came across and I dare say it's my favorite. Thank you for sharing!
leigha, today is my third day of practicing with you, and i'm absolutely loving it. i felt it was time to challenge myself a bit more in my at-home yoga practice, and you have delivered that in the best way. your transitions and flows are perfection -- challenging, invigorating, and fun :) please post more videos!
Hi Leigha, just wanted to let you know that I love your your yoga practice. You have such a beautiful nature and the moves you do are amazing! Thanks for the upload!! Keep them coming :)
Thank you so much :) This was awesome. :) I've some extra added exuberance after finishing this second video due to finding out that I could lift my my head from headstands to supporting my weight with my shoulders, with my forearms down, whilst doing it. Still, however, cannot be comfortable in getting my forearms completely parallel and going directly into a forearm stand. Perhaps it will come eventually -- I would imagine on that day my shoulders would be better for it. I really am so glad to have found your channel, I have encountered other good yoga videos on youtube, but I wanted something that gave me some extra and different room to play around with and grow into, and yours definitely does.
I love it, really challenging. I can't do a handstand, but easy with a headstand, and I'm also not very flexible, so gonna try this practice again and again. thank you so much and hi from russia
I intended to try one of your intermediate videos today (I normally do the beginner) but accidentally clicked on this one and didn't realize it until the practice was almost over. Despite some serious modifications and taking a few breaks to watch you in awe, I could kinda follow along for most of it. (I still can't do even the simplest of hand stands or crow poses.) Anyways, I feel great and stretched much farther than ever before. Thanks for posting though I will go back to beginner for a while more.
Thanks for sharing your experience, Carly. I loved reading this. I just recorded a new one today -- a good, solid Intermediate class. I hope it suits you well, and thank you for being up for the adventure :) :) :).
This was a humbling practice. I am an instructor and this practice reminded me what it's like to 'not be able to do' certain things in a yoga class, but your tone was gentle and accepting. I won't do this first thing in the morning next time since there was no warm up so i was pretty stiff. Could have used a little clearer instruction with some are the transitions. I like the variation but frequently had to look up to see what you were talking about.
I love this class so much! I think I've done your advanced classes about 50 times each lol I so dream of you making a new one! Pretty please? Much love from tulum
Sweet Jesus, this was haaard! Awesome class Leigha, thank you so so much! I enjoyed this challenging vinyasa flow a lot! I could do it maybe 85-90 percent :) Can't do a handstand without a wall (yet!) :) and by the end I was so exhausted I could not even attempt to go into koundinyasana from astavakrasana, just held astavakrasana for a little :) I did do a 40 min Dylan Werner class prior to yours so that maybe the reason for the exhaustion, too :) I love your challenging flows, keep them coming! Hugs from Budapest, Hungary :)
The message on the wall says everything. I should probably follow that more often. Thank you very much for sharing such awesome and beautiful sequence. Just one question: Is it safe to jump directly from head-stand ending to plank? In Hatha it is said to go out very slowly and let the blood flow back, before any further movements.
+Paulo Pedrosa Jr. Coming out with control is the best, so there is slowness and naturalness as the blood redistributes. If you look at old Iyengar vids, though, they're jumping all over the place so rapidly it looks like they could get whiplash. The practice has evolved since then, but I suppose it depends on many factors -- the individual, age, comfort level, what someone is accustomed to, what feels right or wrong, etc.
Hi Leigha I’ve been trying to do Pincha for almost 2 years now. I’still have a lot of fear to let go of the wall. How do I get rid of my fear.because I know my body is ready for it. It’s my mind that stops me. Pls help
What kind of therapeutic health benefits to you get by twisting your body into a pretzel? There's just something very foreign or "eastern" about all this.
The list is long, Kliter :)... But: improved lymbic system function (associated with memory, stress levels, emotion, and motivation); weight management; muscular tone, strength, length, and resilience. Mood elevation. Stimulation of the thyroid (i.e., hormone regulation, improved digestion/metabolism, and more). Improved organ function. Improved circulation. A sense of well being. Healthy blood pressure. But don't take my word for it! Tool around at the National Institutes of Health website, and look for peer-reviewed studies about physical exercise, meditation, yoga, and sound healing. If it seems a little foreign, that's because it is! Yoga originated in India thousands of years ago, but westerners have been enjoying its benefits for over a hundred years. Cheers!
I first fell in love with Kino McGregor! A wonderful teacher! I have been practicing on and off for 3 years. I am so grateful I found you today!! Your flow is challenging yet graceful! Just what I imagine my practice being. Thank you for helping me along my journey! If you want to see my improvements check out facebook.com/holisticmodelforchange/ YOU ARE AMAZING!! I will be posting you on my social media!
Her actions seems like got electric ⚡️ shock, the way she kept her finger and actions.. funny 😁 especially the Graudasanam it’s a balancing postures and the main importanc is to the keep the back straight her action seems like Eagle 🦅 got flue and shivering.. fully ugly, a bit not feels that the asanas are not from the bottom of her she doing “ no energy feels” full circus action
Mad skills and great practice! 💪🏽
Just found this one today and it was incredible . Thank you 🙏 😊

This was amazing
This was amazing.
A full on level 3 practice covering many many advanced poses... This class took me almost 2x the time to complete as I paused a lot to work on them.
Love this advane flow. Wish I could do everything. Thank you.
P.S. the video voice is really soft. Can hardly hear on a phone.
The message on the wall says everything. I should probably follow that more often. Thank you very much for sharing such awesome and beautiful sequence.

That was insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 13:47
So, if pike hops are just not happening, what do you do to build that strength? Tuck hops? Lifting and lowering piked legs in headstand? Thanks.
Yes! L-sit, Lolasana (seated tuck holds), Handstand negatives as you suggest x10-30, + Toe Taps. Let us know how it’s coming along!
Thank you
Goals.
