I agree with what you said. I lived my life in fear of screwing something up. I'm not majorly afraid of horses, but I do have a fear of getting on a horse I didn't know or ride before. But you are so right, Tasha. I let fear hold me back because I put myself in a psychological box of fear, and I missed out on a lot of things. All because of fear. I've learned I needed to get out and try stuff. I've accomplished a lot, I even to some English lessons. It is the same in Martial Arts. Yes, safety is important, and a little bit of fear can be good. Don't let fear rule you!! I'm a prime example of letting fear rule me and how it held me back in life because I never took certain risks. I'm 45 years old and realized a few years ago that most of my life went by, I've lost a lot of opportunities because I was afraid of stepping out of my comfort zone!

Yesterday I fell off my student QH and hit a fence post trying to canter (tore my clothes, scraped my ribs). It was very scary and thankfully I had a mid-section brace to cover my ribs. I’m back on a lunge line to learn to secure seat while learning to canter 🥺😑

I feel ya! I ride racehorses and was just thrown off into the air like 8 feet and then hit a light post this morning! Luckily I never broke my back. If I was not wearing a vest and helmet I would of broke ribs at least. Don't, give up! As the saying goes "Get back in the saddle" ...\ on your high horse!

I'm ridding already with a new version of me, looking for better and better communication with my horse. A lot of joy and happiness. So, so grateful. Thank you and keep on being such a strong inspiration.
