    Beautifully explained, just one question, whats the logic behind having a Negative Sign when we move to the right on the graph...thanx

      Thanks for the positive feedback. Since y = f(x+h), it comes from y = f (x - - h) which means -h becomes +h. So +h is to the left and -h is to the right. Rule of thumb, anytime h is in the brackets, the direction is the opposite of a normal number line.
