I feel so lucky to be able to record and revisit the first moment you fell in love with them. I lost my memory of the first moment because I knew them 7 years ago. But what I still vividly remember is that I was shocked when I saw pitta Kang Hyeong-ho's first performance video. He sang ‘Phantom of the Opera’ both male and female parts alone. It was truly amazing. We recommend videos of each individual’s solo performance. It's interesting to see how wonderfully they have grown musically. Intelligent and humble, pitta is an all-round musician who leads Forestella's music by writing lyrics, composing, vocal directing, vocal arranging, and even producing. I am very proud of how he has established himself not only as a vocalist, but as a true musician. Enjoy the members’ solo stages. My first recommendation is pitta Kang Hyeong-ho’s self-composed song ‘Wave on the Sea(해무)‘and ‘be free’. I also highly recommend cover songs by Wishmaster, Survival, etc.

Doesn’t matter with which song you were introduced to them that feeling will just increase and you’ll see yourself putting UA-cam upside down to recover everything you had been missing (and it’s a lot!) 😂 And then you’ll discover that the talented members of the vocal group you love to hear are just amazing human beings and it was part that of the energy you first felt in them! Hi Richard, what a great idea! I discovered you through Forestella last year. And I do remember this Scarborough fair reaction because my first thought was that you were so genuinely affected by what you had just seen and heard which reminded me of my own reaction when I had first seen and heard them, which was about 3 months before you did. My other thought was that it seemed you didn’t want to end the reaction as you were trying to figure out what had just happened, who they were etc…it stayed with me for a long time. You know, until Forestella, I was never interested in reaction videos or even in actively following everything released by an artist, what their origins were , etc but after just 1 song my husband and I had to find out more and we are so glad we did. We had no idea what an effect they would have on our lives, and no idea how it was that we had never heard of them before.. I would like to see more of these videos , as you also continue to discover more of their work. They are incredibly hard-working, and always striving to do better . We have been discovering each individual member’s musical journey and solo activities too, so that is another journey you need to embark on …the depth of experience and talent is hard to wrap one’s brain around , but is essential in getting to understand them. I have been discovering so many new artists and music through Forestella too.

They won a tv competition in 2013 when they were all around 30. Not as young as the guys from Forestella. But you might like them too. I recommend their cover of Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling" for something light and fun or their "Sea Shanty Medley" which was very popular during lockdown.
