you are one of a few reactors who do their homework before reacting. it's ok just react and don't google. however, it will be much better for the reactors and the viewers to know more about the background of songs and singers that they react to when doing reaction. BYW nice reaction, sure will appreciate Forestella more if interested in reacting to them more.
I heartily agree with you here.. it drives me crazy when some just dive right in and are even proud of their lack of knowledge. It’s such a disservice to some artists who have invested so much of themselves in their performances. Being armed with some salient information can only enhance the listening experience for both reactor and subscriber.

I recommend you to see their interpretation for the songs from movies. Parla piu piano (from the Godfather), My Favorite Things (from the Sound of Music), Sweet Dreams (X-men OST), Time in a bottle (Fast & Furious OST), etc. If you wanna keep digging more heavenly songs from them, Scarborough Fair, Angel, In un'altra vita, My Eden, etc. I think you would love their original songs too. Please start from Save our lives and then Utopia, White Night.
Forestella is very versatile and nailed every genres in a top-notch level. They even danced! Check their Smooth Criminal (of MJ) and Thriller (only fan-cams from their concerts). Forestella never disappoints.
Forestella has been around for 5 years and Kang HyungHo originally had no musical training but is a gifted natural talent and rock vocalist (solo as "Pitta" with his own band). Incidentally. He was an autodidact and only became a professional singer at the age of 30, when FORESTELLA was founded ALL FORESTELLA members have a greatly expanded vocal range and have continued their musical education. (Both in the lyrical direction and away from the classical style, towards the more neutral use of the voice in more contemporary songs. They are now considered to be such a well-rehearsed and strongly connected team, that signs are no longer necessary, they know intuitively when and how the others start or end, and are considered ONE VOICE.
All their original songs have very meaningful lyrics. Their singing is exceptional too.

Good day. Everything is of the best with your own performance. Thank you for your reaction to Forestella. They are all superb singers but as a quartet they are phenomenal . My favorite song of theirs is Champions. It is such a majestic "big" sounding song. With Forestella you can choose any song that they have performed and you will not be disappointed. Each performance has something special and something that you will absolutely love as they always try to surpass themselves. Their original songs are White Night, Save Our Lives and Utopia. They have done renditions of We Are The Champions, Time In A Bottle, Sweet Dreams, Despacito, Bad Romance, Legends Never Die, Hijo De La Luna, Shape Of You, Scarborough Fair, and Smooth Criminal to name a few. Their more classical songs are Champions, Dell' Amore Non Si Sa, Parla Più Piano, and In Un'altra Vita. They also have a lot of Korean songs that are genre-wise, all over the show, but worth listening to like 곤드레 만드레 (Dead Drunk), 살다가 (As We Live), Lazenca, Save Us, 그리운 얼굴 (Nostalgic Face) also called Cherished Face.
"The Mission" is one of my all-time favorite movies, and the soundtrack is so beautiful and haunting. I remember many scenes when I hear the music.
One critic said the movie was one of the greatest, but was also the most under-rated.
This version brought tears to my eyes. It was so touching!

Hyung-Ho’s (Kang is the last name) voice is so pure and connects with us emotionally regardless of language. It’s like he bares his soul when he sings. Every member of this group is stellar on their own. But combined they are fire. Please react to more Forestella. Literally everything they perform is magical. From “Time in a Bottle” to Despacito” they can cover any genre or language. But that comes from years of dedication, training, and also their communication and comraderie as members of Forestella. Their stage presence (they are awesome live!!) is just amazing. ❤️

Thank you for having Forestella react again. A group with truly unique voices, vocal ranges and technical abilities, and these come into their own in their many more classically oriented songs. Here especially their versions of "Hijo de la Luna" and "Scarborough Fair" and "Je suis Malade" are highly recommended. Their originals "Save our Lives" (a visual and audio masterpiece) and "White Night" should please you for both the messages and the outstanding skills and are also HIGHLY recommended.
The best group I know with four extraordinary voices.

Slight correction for you; Koreans list their last names first, so their first names are, from left to right, Woorim, Hyungho, Mingyu, and Doohoon. First one to go was Hyungho, with the soprano part, following him was Doohoon, the musical actor, third was the base Woorim, and Mingyu was in the middle of all this! Mingyu also has an incredible voice, maybe not featured in this piece. They are practice freaks and work on every single detail over and over. There are times when I think Kang Hyung Ho is a member of Bin Boys' Choir when he does the soprano part~~^^
He didn't play classical music, but with the help of Cho Min-kyu and Ko Woo-rim, I think he can sing higher notes now

강형호는 포레스텔라 결성 초기에 성악을 배우다가 음정이 3개나 떨어져서 그만 두었다고 합니다. 그리고 자기 식대로 노래를 한답니다. 이 말은 23년 pitta 콘서트에서 한 말입니다.
그의 말로는 소프라노에 가깝다고 하는데 아마도 락 발성에 가까운 고음일 듯 합니다.
Just so you know Korean names are surname first so we would call Cho Mingyu 'Mingyu' rather than 'Cho' ,He's the leader of the group (and my favourite)

If you like Italian songs, I suggest their versions of Dell'amore Non Si Sa, In Un'Altra Vita, and L'immensita. They are so versatile and are so different in sound/style, they tend to sound like a 15 man choir instead of just 4 amazing guys. I absolutely love everything they do.

I love all crossover groups and especially Forestella is one of favorites! They have amazing voices and harmonies!
I’d like to recommend you a new crossover group from South Korea I discovered recently. It’s called “Forténa” with combination of four tenors(I’ve heard it’s the first crossover group with four tenors). When I heard their cover song “Neapolis” I had a goosebumps everywhere. I’m sure you would like it and I’d love to hear your opinion about their singing.

Kang Hyungho didn't have training when Forestella formed. BUT since then he has studied singing, he said it himself in interviews that he wanted to improve his technique. Mingyu gave him lessons and he also studied on his own to "grow up" to the countertenor role. You can probably notice he uses classical singing techniques - he studied those. Many fans are mistaken when they claim that Hyungho doesn't have training. That was only true when he applied to the singing contest where Forestella was formed.

How have you not reacted to Jacob Collier yet? The early covers like All Night Long and Moon River won him 4 Grammys in his early 20s as well as his own songs and collaborations with many contemporary artists across 4 albums as well as symphonies and virtuosic groups like Snarky Puppy and Dirty Loops. Even just as a singer his range and microtonal precision control is phenomenal, not to mention his heart and soulfulness.

Regarding Kang Hyung-ho, who has an extraordinary voice and a special musical gift, although he had no musical training before entering the Phanton Singer competition (where the quartet was formed), in his statements he said that later he had worried about studying hard to improve your vocal technique. Even in the last stage of the contest, he wanted to be incorporated into a group in which one of its members would be like a "luxury" private trainer, so when he arrived at Forestella the other 3 members supported him a lot, especially Cho Mingyu.
