  • Reviewing Moon Rouge apples grown in Youngju, Gyeongsangbuk-do. This Japanese variety was developed by Kazuo Yoshiiye (吉家一雄), filed for application on February 21, 2014, and registered on May 29, 2018. These apples are large, averaging 360g per fruit. The skin transitions from green to orange and red, displaying vivid colors, while the flesh is a distinctive light pink. With high sweetness and moderate acidity, they offer a well-balanced flavor. The flesh is firm, with a high honey content, often exhibiting water core.
