Well after listening to the latest album I can say this was NOT a fluke. The entire album is absolute fire. Not only my favorite Mucc album but one of the best recent visual kei albums. Even the remade songs sound better than the originals which is rare.
There is a dove raising her little babies just outside my window. She came over and started singing along the instant I started playing this. I can't decide if it's more cute or annoying. Either way, two fans of this song over here.

今回のTimelessツアーの会場限定CD曲はどれもそれぞれのツアータイトルになっているアルバム曲たちへのアンサーソングのような雰囲気で、
当時のメロを取り入れつつ今のMUCCの解釈で作られているのがとても興味深い。
今回の「99」も、「志恩」「球体」当時のメタル色を意識した懐かしくも新しい曲になっている。
古い曲も新しい曲も違和感なくライブのセトリで出来る音楽の柔軟性と、表現への新しいアプローチをし続けるという一貫性が同居しているバンドだなあと思う。
