They over winter in Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge and even though the Festival of the Cranes was postponed (due to "Snowmegedon" that was going to kill us all) I made it to the refuge and saw thousands of cranes. The code I could not crack was the variety of sounds that they make. One sound reminds me of a purring goose. I asked several people how to describe the sound but they could not.
