Police Helicopter Visits Secondary College

During term 4 of 2006 I invited the Victorian Police and Fire Brigade services to visit the college and demonstrate their machines to our students. The MFB sent a fire engine from the Greensborough station and the police air wing sent their Aerospatiale Dauphin SA.365C1 aircraft. Both the police and fire brigade provide an outstanding service to all Victorians and I appreciate their support. Special thanks to officers Trevor Rim (police) and Glenn Martin (MFB) for their support and organisation involved on the day.

Nice vid. Love the old Dauphins! The MFB truck itself was retired nearly 5 years ago but was preserved and part of the Fire Services Museum fleet now. The rest of its type were donated to Samoa.

Love how the police do these school visits with the helicopter. It makes the kids day. I remember them doing this when I was in primary school. I was so excited. Keep up the good work.
