did hanae just comfirm Gotouge Sensei’s gender?? I know it literally doesn’t matter if they are female, male or something else but didn’t he refer to her as “she?”
I also read an article one time talking about the last arc and it mentioned how shounen jump magazine said something like “Gotouge Sensei’s gender is female. She had to end the manga faster then expected due to family issues.”. Like I said not like it matters- Gotouge Sensei is an incredible writer and artist. Their gender doesn’t play into any of their work really
sorry, that's my mistake. Hanae never mentioned the author's gender. He just called them "sensei". I didn't realized it until I posted. And you're right, Gotouge-sensei is amazing as they are.

I think he's saying that despite Tamayo being Gotouge's favorite character they killed her off. Either that or referencing Tamayo's reappearance and importance when they get to taking down Muzan
