I bet that meeting went amazingly and what a cute thought to think about one of my favorite American VAs actually having a face to face meeting with two of my favorite seiyuu. I fondly remember when the Japanese, English and Chinese voice actors of the main cast of Mugen Train did a series of special videos to promote the movie before its release and I was laughing hysterically in Zenitsu's video because it was so amazing to see Shimono's reaction to Aleks' performance and it was my first time hearing Li Lanling too (now i'm obessed with his voice in the Word of Honor donghua 🥰).
I also love how excited Nobuhiko was to talk about Genya 🥺 because that was how I felt to my friends when he first appeared in the new season. He's the sweetest right under Tanjiro in my book.
I was hoping they would meet ever since the Mugen Train movie promotion thing and now that it came true I was so happy!! I was giggling when I saw their posts on Twitter 🥰
Hanae Natsuki i think doesn't sound too much like tanjiro when normally speaking, but Shimono Hiro definitely does.

Although I was more surprised to hear Seki-san (Sanemi's VA) voice child Sanemi. But they did a very good job voicing them. Can't wait for other radio episodes with Okamoto-san
Yass!!! I'm waiting for this moment! Okamoto-san is one of my favorite VA; in fact, my favorite character that he voiced was Mizuki of Kamisama Hajimemashita. I'm so happy to hear him talking about our cinnamon roll, Genya.

The part where Zenitsu's English dub actor was mentioned, did he have to have a translator when he was on the show or does he speak Japanese?
pretty sure he and Shimono has a translator, cuz they met twice during Aleks' trip in Japan and I assume it was a pretty long meeting.

Yes from what I understand they had the first meeting and then shimono-san surprised aleks by going to eat dinner with him and shimono-san saying he was his dad but aleks said no no more like brothers LOL
@@hoshis2706 yep. Also, from my limited observation, I think Hanae-san knows some English so he probably helped a bit during their interaction too 🤔
