Alan if I drain the CH to remove rads on a combi and leave it drained, can they still have hot water ? I don’t think they can as use the same heat exchanger and overheat stat issue with no circulation ?
I have a vitodens 100w WB1C combi boiler. I noticed that the circulation pump never shuts off when in heating mode. Is that normal? It switches on/off as expected when I use it only for hot water. Starts up when I open the tap and shuts off when I close the tap. But as soon as I turn on my UFH, it just goes forever. Even on lowest setting, with smallest 20 meter loop isolated. I don't have any additional room temperature sensors or timers. Also, do combi boilers have a way to remove air from the system? I refilled my UFH and I could hear air going through the pipes and the boiler. But after a few hours of working, there was no air sound left. I don't have an automatic air vent on the pipes. Does this mean the air is gone, or is it now trapped in the system somewhere?
Hi Alan just a quick question about baxi duo tec 33 do i need external bypass valve for two zone heating. I know it has built-in bypass is this ok to use with zone heating. Any information would be appreciated

Depends on the boiler. In most cases the boiler will not work.
