Agreed and all the "carry on only" people are forgetting to mention that an airline will weigh your carry on for an international flight. I saw this happen to people in Portugal who were waiting to board our plane. At least four people at the gate were off to the side trying to figure out what they could unload from their carry on because it was overweight. One family got in a fight. It was awful.

I have to say I love your videos, but one of the reasons I also enjoy your videos is the quality and the sound of your voice. It’s so calming and relaxing to hear. Sometimes you watch peoples UA-cam videos and their voices are not very easy on the ears
Don’t forget your unmentionables 🤭😂 I went to Europe for two weeks with a friend last year… she brought only a carryon and I brought a 28” suitcase AND a carryon… I think I was happier with my choices 😁 Safe travels… enjoy!!

That is a lot for 10 days, although honestly I pack the same for 10 days as I do for a month - 3 bottoms, 1 dress, 5 tops, 1 cardigan, 2 jackets and if needed 1 swimsuit and coverup. Plus a couple handbags and 3 pairs of shoes. If all your tops go with all your bottoms, you can easily create enough outfits to last your trip. Plus it brings out your creativity when you have more limited options.

I've been to Italy decades ago & used to know many Italians ,had Italian lovers ,many youtubers wear very flashy & more very revealing outfits for Italy vlogs & European vlogs ,but they don't wear like we do here in L A.!! I took the plunge and ordered the Madewell straw tote when it was on LTK sale last weekend. BUY THIS TOTE. It’s very pliable, it just molds to your body as you carry it. Hard to describe, but it doesn’t feel bulky when over your shoulder, the shoulder straps are the perfect height. It’s smaller at the base and gets wider as it gets to the top. Even at full price this bag is exceptional! Thanks for the recommendation Dana!

I was in Rome for 4 days and a day trip to Florence four weeks ago. I took only a cabin sized case and was fine. It rained the first 2 days there but after that was around 23C each day. It was my first time in Italy and I truly loved it. You will have a wonderful time there I'm sure.

I have that travel carryon bag. I love it. It’s a great size. I do travel with a carryon suitcase though. I travel a lot for work so have learned to back all carryon. Traveling to Italy in June!

Did you pack any backup toiletries on your airplane bag in case your luggage is lost?
I don't have backups. But I have a separate airplane routine bag with basics like toothbrush, hand sanitizer ear plugs etc. Most things can be purchased once you arrive if anything were to happen god forbid.

I have learned to really under pack when I go to Italy so that I can do some shopping there and have room in my suitcase. I usually just take one pair of white sneakers and one pair of slides/sandals.

Lol, I personally have trouble packing panties, bras and pajamas. I never know how much yo pack especially bras and Jammie. They take ip room I'm going on a 3 week trip and trying to pack really light. Memphis, Nashville and Florida.

Don’t take dark colors or jeans! It’s HOT in the summer over there, take something to cover shoulders like a light wrap. Some places won’t allow you to expose your shoulders if you go to Florence, buy leather purses and shoes here

Wow, you have a lot of repetition with the dresses. The light neutral coloured dresses; I counted 4, plus a white coverup that could do double duty. You could easily cut those down to 1 & the coverup (take a belt so it looks like a short dress). Plus two black dresses almost the same could be easily cut down to 1 dress.
10 days is not a lot of time and there is enough clothes for a month!

Too much Girl! 7 pairs of pants for 10 days? Plus dresses so pants won’t be needed? When you finally feel like simplifying you will feel so much more relaxed. It comes as you get older lol. Take a picture of the clothes you didn’t wear and you’ll see how to bring less next time.
Good suggestion. I always make a mental note of what I don’t wear. It really helps for future packing. 😊
