Did it for about 6 minutes, baby slept, woke up an hour later, fed and pooped. I am so relieved

Thank you for this. I don't have or want kids, but I'm babysitting my little three month old nephew for the next eight weeks and I am so anxious when he's in pain because he didn't poop for a few days. He has to be bottle fed because mom doesn't have breast milk. Newborns and infants are so much work. Very stressful.
Mine is a month old, it looks like he is always in pain☹️so you are right, newborns and infants are really problematic. Hope your baby sitting goes absolutely fabulous

Just got back from the doctor's she said nothing like this said I wasn't feeding him enough even thou he's cluster feeding and tried getting me on formula after only 2 days on constipation 😑

My newborn is 7 days old and hasn't pooped since yesterday morning 😩
Same issue with me. The doctor said to take to ER if not passing stool within 48 hrs and I am so stressed 😩 she is 3 days old

@@Yunggifted I had to take her to the emergency room. Turns out her bilirubin levels was way too high so she had jaundice. She had to get a bili light and IV treatment. After that her stools passed normal.

Hey I'm a doctor and know what to use
You can try glycerin suppository
Here's how to use:
First wear gloves
Second open the wrap of the suppository,
Hold the suppository and push it to the baby's anus,it doesn't hurt,it will only make your baby feel confused,within 4 hours the poop will come out

4 weeks wow. Get other opinions
Swizzle a cotton bud with some Vaseline or olive oil in the baby bottom...your baby might be constipated
My baby is two weeks old ...she didn't poo for 3 days I did the cotton bud thingy and it worked for me
Please check with the another pediatrician, mine did poo for two weeks, I was indeed so worried

Dr. My baby is just 8 days old , he is not passing poop 💩 since he arrived from hospital. When he was feeding formula milk by nurse at hospital he used to potty and his bilirubin was normal but when he was started breast feeding , not passing poop , it's been 1 week . Help me doc please any better suggestion advice.

@@rockyyahoo5566 she passed poop in early two days when she was fed only formula milk bt after that she was given antibiotics because doctor said she has infection. Then started mother feed with formula feed. She stopped poop. Kindly guide is it safe for babies to give glycerin to poop?
While making formula milk always be very alert about the proportion of water and formula milk . If you don't mix it with right amount of water and formula milk then baby will not get the nutrition.she might get hungry again and again.
