Ah I remember those days. My middle son had that eye discrepancy but it wasn’t identified until he was in kindergarten. The pediatric ophthalmologist attempted to correct it but by then it was too late. He is now 25 and basically blind in one eye. I’m impressed that Dr. Paul was able to hone in on that at two months. With corrections this sweet little boy will have normal vision by six years.
My baby is two months old and the only time he cries is every single time he is put down. Other than that he is happy as can be. It can really be exhausting at times, but they are worth it 😀💖
Human beings are incredible. You can just see how much information that baby is taking in and processing. We are born with a supercomputer that comes on immediately with a natural system that keeps it alive. Just wow. Don't know why this video made me think about that lol. I miss my daughter being that little :-(
U are an AMAZING doctor!! I so wish I could move back to the US just so u would be my baby’s pediatrician!! Learned a lot from ur channel so please keep it coming. Also if u could talk about chest congestion. My two month old baby boy seems healthy but I live in one of the most polluted cities in the world ( Lahore, Pakistan) I keep hearing lots of noise when he sleeps or even gets excited & is playing. Today I took him in a the hot shower ( to inhale some steam ) and it seemed like he was gasping for air. Can’t sleep since then 😧
So beautiful…..I am 74 yrs old, we grandma’s have radar to seek out babies, I noticed that babies like old people, like they know oh this old lady will talk to me…..
This video taught me that I need to change pediatricians. Mine doesn’t check my sons tongue, eyes, ears, nothing. Puts her stethoscope on his chest, doesn’t ask questions or give a crap. I’m the one asking about x,y, & z. Not really helpful if I have to do all the work lol 😆 😒
@nibblez_the_clown my baby does the same. He barely looks at me or anyone actually....he just looks at the sealing. I'm so worried. Does your baby looks at you more now? Does he smile at you ?
@@annamalassi7885 hi, if you're worried your baby is delayed with eye contact please contact your pediatrician with those concerns. 2 months most babies begin to make eye contact and track mommy or daddy, staring at fans, lights or ceiling is normal and they tend to fall out of that habit as their eyes develop more at 3 to 4 months.
His head is bigger (and therefore way heavier) than average. It's naturally going to take him longer to develop the strength to hold it up. He's going to be just fine.
I love interacting with toddlers & kids of all older age groups & I’m not awkward at all. However, the infant phase (before 6 months particularly) makes me really uncomfortable. The helplessness of them & how they can’t even lift their own head up is just irritating. I’m not a monster I swear! Does anyone relate to this at all?
My Dr. originally said it was most likely gas, and that babies don't typically smile as a response until about 2mos. But she saw my LO smiled at her during his 1mo checkup. She acknowledged that's what he was doing. So, it's definitely possible.
My baby is now 4 months she is healthy and grows very well, it’s just that she looks away and past me. What should I do in this case? She also avoids eye contact
My daughter just didn’t like eye contact. She is nearly 14 months old and only recently has grown comfortable with eye contact, but even then she prefers short spurts of eye contact. Her vision was great and she followed objects amazingly, just made her uncomfortable I guess.
@@noideanadia1390 hi, beside eye contact hows everything with her development? Like speech, gross motors and such…. All moms worry about avoiding eye contact since thats one sign of autism…
@@sodadadada So far we are continually shocked at how well she's developing, so that's a blessing! Every appointment she gets a gold star so I'm thinking it was just a season. She's doing much much better with it.
All babies are different sizes. It depends on genetics and lots of other factors. If he/she is gaining and growing at each appt, has wet and poopy diapers, then they're fine. :)
My baby is gonna be 2 months and his head floops the same . Did this baby end up being able to hold his head up later ? Please respond for a piece of mind 🥲 thank you
My pediatric told me to just keep doing tummy time. There are lots of positions you can do on the tummy And try to hold your baby upright in your arms so they can practice to hold their head up more. I hope this helps ❤

I sure wish I could find a pediatrician that is this thorough. If I lived in the same state as Dr Paul, I'd take my babies to him. He's wonderful.
The calmest and most cooperative baby I have ever seen❤❤❤
I love this blog…pediatricians who love children are such a joy to watch❤️
The doctor looks very friendly and heartwarming towards babies. So sweet
omg he is so calm, my 2months old only calm when sleeping otherwise is just crying which is tiring for us😒😓
Haha every baby is different
Awee.. my baby became that way but hat was cause he has gas issues. But yes as they grow older , they need u much more. 💓
Could there be a problem in his neck ?

Yeah same here😒, sometimes she relax for a bit otherwise she hates being put down

My two month old does the same thing likes to look around a lot more then eye contact. She does do it but not for long. Is this normal at 2 months?
I recently saw a video that say if baby are tired they look away from people(Emma hubbard) you can learn more there.
Same here, did you get any answers? Is your baby doing fine now?

Thank you for sharing, I have a grandson of this age.
This little one has a big head lag. Shouldn’t they be much stronger by this age?

You better bring your baby to her doctor and tell that case , it is really important thing for us to know as a mother, why

Ve. Mestre ospedale
Is it macrocephaly?
Pretty sure the Dr could figure that out on this visit. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say no.

Baby has a big head, overweight, a lazy eye, high palette and one leg is longer than the other…[perfect baby] Why would I pay a doctor to lie to me?
Def not what the doctor said, your overdramatization…
