Hi Martin, thanks for the kind words. Truth is, I don't really know what conditions manufacturers test their lines with. I am familiar with what you're saying. And I know some braids have "coatings" that are hydrophobic and helps with "color retention" but wears off easily. Sorry, I couldn't really understand your question. But if you are writing about the specs, as far as I can tell, manufacturers practically have the freedom to write whatever they want as long as they can prove it - even in a completely controlled setting of their choosing.
I have messaged SpiderWire and this was their reply, "SpiderWire Stealth is made from Dyneema and constructed to provide ultimate strength with the thinnest diameter for smooth and quiet performance. It also has no stretch properties that provide incredible sensitivity to instantly detect bites and structure. Whereas Stealth Smooth is made specifically to offer an incredible smooth and soft feel without sacrificing strength, sensitivity, or diameter. It is created by tightly woven 8 carriers of PE fiber." So to summarize, Spiderwire Stealth is made from Dyneema (supposedly a better version of PE) fibres while Stealth Smooth is made from PE fibres.

But my assumptions may be wrong). As both are made with different fiber, I am not sure which will be more durable to handle big fishes. (Which one do you suggest for longevity and strength? Thanks). Secondly, which knot is best (do not slip/come out)-because sometimes instead of line snaps, it is the knot that fails).
Hi, if those are your only line options, I would honestly pick the cheaper one. You probably can't tell the difference in smoothness (I know I can't) between the two. And as for line strength, I will go with the thicker of the 2 irrespective of their advertised break strength. My personal reason being is that thinner diameter lines are more likely to "cut" into itself more when it is used with knots (think about a sharp knife vs a dull one) which is why a lot of people will argue not to use knots when testing the break test (as if they will use lines in fishing without using any knots). As for knot slippage, I personally use a palomar or double palomar knot when I am concerned about the knot slipping plus a dab of super glue. I hope this helps.

Because I thought I could spool up (in a small size reel with a good drag) a very long line as wiplash braid is thin but very strong. But after the example of (sharp knife dull knife) I am somewhat not so confident of that thin but strong whiplash line 🤔🤔 As, whiplash line is expensive I was looking for alternatives (and found spider stealth and spider smooth, along with suffix - 832 but kindly share you knowledge about this suffix 832). You will definitely have to use a double palomar with a dab of superglue.
