Angie, I been following you si ce before the pandemia (March of 2020), when I started taking care of my face skin. You are an inspiration and would love, love, for you to show us, teach us, how to reapply sunscreen on a regular day. You always wear beautiful make up and when you been testing foundations, you give us check ups during the whole day. It would be very nice, appreciate it, if you do a demostración of reapplying sunscreen during a whole day over make up. Thank you very much and please please, make my wish come thru 😊
I've been looking for some hot weather vacation makeup that is lightweight to wear and compact to pack, thanks so much for your review. I don't think I can expect all day wear, just for lunch or dinner for a few hours. Looks so good on you.
I’ve recently purchased this, it works well for me and blends super easy but I’m with you on the concealer. Great for travelling on hols though and I don’t feel caked at all.
Thanks for reviewing this! I’d wondered if it were practical (the HD palette). I like the idea of a palette, but dislike buying one with colors I’d never use, I don’t use bronzer or highlighter every day. If I could build my own palette and choose a contour instead and an extra blush and possibly a lip formula, it would be workable. Also, live the eye look! I have a couple of the Elf eyeshadow sticks but I’m not very creative in blending the colors. I’d not thought to blend the peach with the taupe to warm it up. Very pretty and subtle!
Hi there Angie. First I love your videos and appreciate your honesty on products. I was curious if you’ve ever tried the Il Makiage foundation. The videos are so interesting but wonder if they are just too good to be true.
The pallets are interesting. It seems like there could potentially be a lot of waste for the price. I have one by Milani that has a blush/bronzer/ highlighter combo. I can’t say I would repurchase it. Some of my brushes are too large for the little pans, which is a pain. I love how you test makeup over time. Pretty much anything will look okay for an hour, but 4+ hours later is a true review. Thanks so much. I really want to get those eye shadow sticks!
That's really a problem for me with palettes. They always seem like a good idea because everything should go together but then there's usually only a few that really get used & several that just don't work for me. I'm currently purging my old makeup & it's clear to me how much money I've wasted by buying palettes, especially eye shadow palettes. I can see for the price of this, that unless you're using it for travel or something, it probably wouldn't make sense for every day wear.
@@sahdogwrangler5594 I also generally avoid eye shadow palettes unless I'm pretty sure I'll use all, or all but one, of the colors. And a lot of them have sets of colors that don't make sense to me. But, palettes can be very convenient for travel. The Smashbox Cover Shot palettes are a good value because they give you bigger palettes of the base colors. I own the Mattes palette and am very pleased with it. I think this MUF palette would be great for travel! But for everyday, I agree with you that it doesn't make sense unless you can replace the pans you use a lot. And you're not going to use all the pans, or use very much of some of them. I looked at the MUF website, and I couldn't figure out if you could replace them. Disclaimer: I don't get paid or compensated in any way to recommend products, and I don't receive free products to review.
I agree. I tossed all my other foundations. The Dior Forever Matte is the best I have ever used, including even more expensive products. Now I am paranoid they will reformulate or otherwise ruin it. I feel like buying 10 bottles and storing them lol.
I love your channel, and have used so much skincare and makeup based on your reviews. This technique that you just demonstrated and which I have I also seen in other social media platforms is just not something I would try. I think it’s just too much work. I also don’t do the whole contouring thing. Again, too much time and work if you ask me. You are AWESOME!
Ty ❤ Elf eye shadow has creased really bad when you showed after 4 hours .. maybe with primer is best ? You did state you liked it but I know you would not like the creasing .. what is your favorite drug store eye primer ?
Great video! Have been curious about the face palettes and thank you so much for demonstrating! Interesting to watch in action and looks convenient. The mascara looks really good on you. I've been using Lancome mascara recently. It's on the spendy side and L'Oreal is something to try. As always thank you for the review and for investing the time out of your life to do full day testing.
FYI, L'Oreal owns Lancome, and there are a lot of L'Oreal products that are dupes, or close to dupes, of Lancome products. L'Oreal mascaras are generally good; I don't think I've ever been disappointed by one. That said, I'm boycotting L'Oreal right now because they're partially owned by Nestle, which continues to do business in Russia. To be fair, Nestle says they're only providing infant food and medical nutrition in Russia.
I am always looking for travel friendly products that work. This looks like a pretty one and done palette. I might try it as your reviews are usually very accurate for mature skin. Thanks for testing for us all!
This is an interesting product! I may consider using one of the bronzer shades in my crease instead of an eyeshadow, especially if I’m traveling. Thanks for the review! 🌼
I need coverage on my cheeks under bronzer and blush. I have blue veins there so I can never do the 1 layer thing because I have to have coverage everywhere.
Hi Angie, have a question , do you ever not use sunscreen? I'm 61 and I've tried so many sunscreens and none sit well on my skin. I've tried: skin tints, BB, CC colored sunscreen, minerals, chemical, Korean, and powered. I've tried with and without skincare underneath. They all settle in my fine lines and cake up on my skin. The Korean ones do not sting my eyes as the days goes on but they look horrible. Just wondering if you have any suggestions. I've been watching you for 7 years now please keep helping us with our lives 🙏 ❤
Hi Mary! There are some Korean/Japanese ones that are very elegant and feel more like a moisturizer. Which ones did you try and not like? I’ve tried so so many so maybe I can help recommend you one if I know which ones, or, what you haven’t liked about the ones youve tried so far.
Hi Mary, I don't ever go without sunscreen but it did take testing a LOT of sunscreens to find the handful that work on my skin/with my skincare/with makeup but I have found some that are really great! I'd say to start with "The Best" sunscreens from my list of all the sunscreens I've tried here: www.hotandflashy.com/all-the-mineral-face-sunscreens-ive-tested/#/ Good luck! xo ~a.
You also might want to try using a setting spray with spf. Milani makes on that I like. It does have a really strong fragrance but it doesn’t last long. I have also used a spray on sunscreen from Neutrogena that I like and I’ll use it when I’m in a rush and on top of makeup. They do add a shiny finish but I like it and you can put some powder on after it dries down. Just an idea!
I never purchased the KVD GA Balm Foundation when it was hyped but, I've always been intrigued as I really think it would suit my skin type. I watched your review a couple of times and you liked it. Did it eventually disappoint? 'Should I still give it a try??
I have been wondering about this palette. For me it's a no. I think it made your skin look slightly yellow and I don't like the patchiness right from the beginning. I'm not sure any all in one palette would work. Maybe if we were allowed to make up our own color palette. Thanks for doing this. It's a big help!
Also the pans pop out, so you can rearrange if you want. I’m going to see if Mae up forever sells the pans individually, so I can replace the darker bronzer.
You're amazing. In a world where so many "influencers" are getting caught lying and embellishing products by brands that have sponsored them, it's a great feeling to know that we get the truth with you. While the makeup doesn't seem to be overly mature skin friendly, I can't help but wonder how it would do with your HG primer under it?! Maybe an idea for a future video??? 🤗. There's definitely a convenience to that type of pallet and I feel like there are just some people who actually enjoy the makeup application process and having the ability to mix and match brands and textures and products. And there's people who really just want to grab one pallet, put it on and get out the door fast! To each their own, in my opinion! I love how objective you are even when it's not your preferred application process, you're still positive about it. I respect that and appreciate it! Your skin is looking absolutely amazing btw 😍. Lots of love to you and all of my fellow AHF fans ❤️❤️❤️. Hope everyone has an amazing day!
Looks lovely! I just wonder if a color on the palette doesn't work for you, can you swap it out? Seems like they're permanently stuck. Also, if you run out of one before the others, I guess you can't just replace it or you'll have to buy another palette?
I actually couldn't see any settling with any of the products you used. One thing I've learned is that no one looks that close to our faces, especially not to the point of being able to see every pore, wrinkle, hair, etc. No one carries around a magnifying mirror or glass to look at our faces. We are more critical of ourselves than other people are. Another thing is that it is unreasonable to expect that our makeup doesn't need to be touched up throughout the day. I always need to re-powder my face and reapply my lipstick/gloss (unless I use the Chanel Ultra Tenue Liquid Lip which lasts all day). And to help with the longevity of my foundation and makeup I always use setting spray (I double set with Charlotte Tilbury and One Size) and primer because I have an oily t-zone. Appreciate the video!!!
I think the olive tone is a corrector shade not necessarily one of the foundation shades (could be wrong!) and the pans are magnetic. You can pop them out for cleaning, etc.
Lol. I almost didn’t click on this video because I was so taken aback by the thumbnail pic. I was thinking, “does she think this looks good?” Then I realized this must be something different and indeed it is. Lol. Love you Angie. Thanks for all you do.
thanks Angie. Love your truly honest reviews. I would rather purchase one cream foundation and one blush that works for me rather than a whole switch of colors.
Hi Angie. I know you use the Merit bronzer, but have you ever done an eight hour test using the entire line? I like that it’s clean and minimalist, but wonder if their products are worth the money. Enjoy your day.
I use the products that you want name. It works wonders for my skin. Although I do use other foundations. I wasn't given any any sales pitch for their product.
I have and love this palette. My dry skin loves it! But I got a coupon or sale and didn’t pay NEARLY that much. I definitely don’t apply it the TikToky way, lol!
I loveve this technique. Penn Smith did this last year, except she sprayed setting spray all over the face and then blend. I did it every day now. It's SO much faster and less makeup too. :)
First time seeing one of your videos (I was looking for a "how to" on the Make Up Forever All-in-one) And really enjoyed your presentation, your personality, everything! Will be tuning in again 🙂
I purchased a palette from an influencer for Seint and I love it. I am a user of all cosmetics and was pleasantly surprised by Seint make up. I am only using face and concealer and am totally loving it. I'm not bothered by MLM and the quality was good. Similar pricing. Looking good with that palette Angie!
I love your videos….I’m learning so much and having fun trying new things. I’m 55 and it’s the first time I have really taken the time to learn any techniques. Question : How often and how do you clean your brushes?
Thanks for the trial and review, Angie! I like that you show how products wear over several hours. And I really like how you did your eyes in this video! I agree with you that the palette isn't laid out logically; thanks for pointing that out. It's a small thing, and maybe not that important if one is just using it for a trip. But for $85(!), MUF should have considered that. My first thought when you showed the palette was that it would be great for travel because you wouldn't have to carry, and keep track of, several different products. Since it's a set of solids, it wouldn't be subject to the liquids rules for carryons. However, since the pans are all the same size, and you wouldn't use up the pans at the same rate, I don't think it would be great to use routinely at home. Unless you can replace the pans as needed? I can't tell from looking at the website. Also, since the products are a solid creamy formula, they might not work very well on oily skin. I wonder if some of the colors would work well as eye shadow? I don't know; the formula may be too creamy for that. And unfortunately, I won't be trying this because according to the website, the products have fragrance. It must be pretty light because you didn't mention it, and you usually mention heavy fragrance. But I just can't risk it on my skin. Yes, I've had eczema on my face from using scented foundation just once (fortunately AFTER the job interview!) I learned the hard way!
All-in-one cream palette, what an intriguing concept for anyone who wants a minimal product collection and the ability to manipulate the shades. In practice though, wouldn't finding the right primers/prep make or break the result? I imagine that's how you'd customize the sheerness, glow and longevity. Also, you'd need perfect lighting and a good mirror to get the shade just right every time, so perhaps not ideal for real-life travel where bad lighting and mirrors rule.
Love the idea of this palette, especially for vacation. But I would apply in the traditional way as you did on the left side of your face. The striping, blend trend would not work for me I am sure, Would be curious how it holds up in a warm/hot climate. I enjoy the ELF No Budge Shadow Sticks too. I have 6 shades and want more. Super easy to use and they stay put.
Fun video, I appreciate your doing some thing outside the box. It looked a little too crazy for me. And seemed a little expensive for the work involved in blending and I don’t know; just a little much.
Hey Angie. You are the best and I truly thank you for all the work you do to bring us informative and very educational videos. My question has nothing to do with this video but on a previous video regarding the order of application of skin care. Confusion is in pm skin products. Have been using prescription Tretinoin for over 30 years (one of first to start using it per dermatologist ....as soon as announced good for anti-aging)..I’m 74. Per your instructions apply Timeless Matrixyl Synthe 6 serum after Retin A and timeless says to use before your Retin-A. Would you please clarify for me. Many thanks.
If you've been using Retin-A for 30 years and your skin is acclimated to it there's no need to use something else before it. I like to put on my most effective products first for maximum absorption and then follow with my other stuff.

Thanks for the new product testing ❤ love the Tarte lippy wear time!
Hi there Angie. First I love your videos and appreciate your honesty on products. I was curious if you’ve ever tried the Il Makiage foundation. The videos are so interesting but wonder if they are just too good to be true.
Thanks for the heads up I’ve been tempted to try that other brand not going to now 😊
The pallets are interesting.
Looks so natural gorgeous! Love it Angie!
Hi Angie 😊
I’ve bought the Dior foundation you love, and I have to say this: it’s even better than the little black from Chanel 🥰 thanks Angie ❤
Agree!
I agree. I tossed all my other foundations. The Dior Forever Matte is the best I have ever used, including even more expensive products. Now I am paranoid they will reformulate or otherwise ruin it. I feel like buying 10 bottles and storing them lol.
@@amandalwayman4046 yes I thought about that too, but maybe the consistency isn’t so nice when we reach the 10th bottle 😅
@@karinverndal2055 Absolutely right. Products have a shelf life although it's longer when they're unopened and stored away from light and heat.
Oh I love that natural coloring. ❤
Ty ❤
Elf eye shadow has creased really bad when you showed after 4 hours .. maybe with primer is best ? You did state you liked it but I know you would not like the creasing ..
what is your favorite drug store eye primer ?
Thanks for not promoting an MLM!
Glad it was helpful!
Very Pretty! I agree with you I do like to get better coverage by applying the traditional way. However, it did appear to be a faster application.
Thank you!! will your review on the NIRA device be coming soon? You are the best!
Yes, early February!
Looks great. Saved so many people 300 dollars.
I am always looking for travel friendly products that work. This looks like a pretty one and done palette. I might try it as your reviews are usually very accurate for mature skin. Thanks for testing for us all!
I wish I could put makeup on like you do, you always look so pretty! TFS! 🥰
Thank you for no MLM!
The MLM cultists are watching!
About to go get some more make up
Just came across your channel! I love your videos. What type of primer do you use???
This is an interesting product! I may consider using one of the bronzer shades in my crease instead of an eyeshadow, especially if I’m traveling. Thanks for the review! 🌼
I need coverage on my cheeks under bronzer and blush. I have blue veins there so I can never do the 1 layer thing because I have to have coverage everywhere.
This could be the purse set. When you end up putting on your face in the car. Quick touch up,etc.
This would take some getting use to. Thanks Angie Jennifer 😄🦋
Have you gotten the Nuface + ?! Would love to hear your review!
I'd say to start with "The Best" sunscreens from my list of all the sunscreens I've tried here: www.hotandflashy.com/all-the-mineral-face-sunscreens-ive-tested/#/ Good luck! xo ~a.
@@AngieHotandFlashy thank you Angie !!
Love the makeup palette, I love putting everything on & blending. Love you don’t use 💵brands, your videos are great, as are you.
I have this palette. That yellow on the top you said is a foundation is a color corrector for red .
Also the pans pop out, so you can rearrange if you want. I’m going to see if Mae up forever sells the pans individually, so I can replace the darker bronzer.
Thanks for the info!
The color pans in the pallet pop out. I’m going to see if they sell individual pans that size for their custom pallet.
Finally, an honest review of this mascara!!❤
I think the olive tone is a corrector shade not necessarily one of the foundation shades (could be wrong!) and the pans are magnetic. You can pop them out for cleaning, etc.
oh! good to know! i just got it.. you could arrange them putting together the ones that actually suit you. thnx!!
Lol. I almost didn’t click on this video because I was so taken aback by the thumbnail pic. I was thinking, “does she think this looks good?” Then I realized this must be something different and indeed it is. Lol. Love you Angie. Thanks for all you do.
Enjoyed the video, thanks! Not sure I would have known this product existed without your review.
Looks great, I may need to buy this palette 🎉
Makeup looks great on you! Love your videos!
Your videos are the best! So informative and thorough! Thank you for sharing! 👌
thanks Angie. Love your truly honest reviews. I would rather purchase one cream foundation and one blush that works for me rather than a whole switch of colors.
I love makeup forever can’t wait to see this video … great idea!
Great video Angie. What nail polish are you wearing today? Thank you
I have and love this palette. My dry skin loves it! But I got a coupon or sale and didn’t pay NEARLY that much. I definitely don’t apply it the TikToky way, lol!
I think your best look to date.
Your recommendations are truly wonderful
Love this lip combo!!!
Yay! Thank you!
Very helpful and informative! Thank you for sharing. You look naturally lovely, as always.
Same here Vivian, I love Seint makeup, I put makeup on faster.
Happy you love it Vivian!
I love them on you....Very pretty!
I tan a bit I’m not super fair skin but would ivory Dior be best you think?
I love your videos….I’m learning so much and having fun trying new things. I’m 55 and it’s the first time I have really taken the time to learn any techniques. Question :
How often and how do you clean your brushes?
I clean my brushes about once a month.
Hi Angie, can you recommend a drugstore concealer for mature skin
This make up look is great!
Thank you!
Fun video, I appreciate your doing some thing outside the box. It looked a little too crazy for me. And seemed a little expensive for the work involved in blending and I don’t know; just a little much.
I’m not a fan of mlms either but…I want to try Seint!
Do you think that this pallet would be tsa approved for carro on? I think this is perfect for traveling
