I can say this has happened ever since they added Easy Anti Cheat to the game. People on socials were pleading 343 to reverse putting in the Anti Cheat because it'll open up alot of issues. Easy Anti Cheat was added to Halo the weekday after the huge Apex Legends Hack

Had a guy on MCC the week chat "wow, this is my favorite map! Good luck everyone!" while we loaded into Standoff. He then proceeded to fly out of the base like a jet plane and back slap the entire enemy team. NGL, it was pretty funny.

This video might be a little outdated now as the number of cheaters has drastically decreased in the past couple weeks. I agree after the update (before the most recent one) cheaters were everywhere as I had 2 separate ranked games with players no scoping every shot and rapid firing the bandit. I'm sure some are still out there, but it looks like the cheat was updated to help quickly ban them.
In this video, Sylentts is the same hacker I played with in ranked. It is actually a different gamertag, but they are hiding under that name as I think it belongs to high-ranking player normally.

This an issue with FPS games as a whole
they should assign your online account to your social to keep people in line

Skill based match making saving you. You only get cheaters in higher ranked games because of the stats they’re able to put up with cheats

If a multiplayer game is on PC, very likely there will be cheaters. I play COD with crossplay off on PS for this reason.

@@trippybae Way less to worry about and I’m pretty sure at least Sony patched PS5s to block Cronus adapters. I could be wrong though, but it’s night and day playing with and without PC players. Way less suspect things happening.
@@trippybaeconsoles are starting to get pc style cheats too, its happening on apex legends where console players who thought they were safe from cheats are getting aim botted.

I totally agree. That has been the case since halo reach. They took over with such a committed fan base and disregarded them entirely.

It's because of the switch to EAC (Easy Anti Cheat) which can be easily bypassed, which tbf was asked for by the community because 343i was using their own proprietary Anti Cheat (Arbiter), but it sucked ass. Neither of them are good Anti Cheat services though.

FPS genre is infested with cheaters. Now there are more sneaky AI aimbots available for them. I consider FPS genre dead for honest players at this point.
Any genre has cheaters , i seen people cheating in cardgame tournaments , people even cheat in chess online
@@bertuj So what? Are you justifying cheating? FPS genre has the worst cheating problem because the sheer number of cheaters overwhelm honest players. Just look at the size of FPS cheat industry. For some FPS games, its cheat industry is even bigger than the game itself. No other genre has this much severe cheating problem.

I've said this many times in the past, I've been saying it for over 5 years and I'll say it again.
Let's use some basic common sense here everyone. In order for cheat developers to sell their "cheats" they have to by pass the anti cheat system. Nobody that cheats wants to buy cheats if they don't work, duhhhh. This isn't rocket science. Cheating in video games or in general is a moral issue we as humans have, NOT a tech issue. Until we become better as a species this immoral stuff will continue unfortunately.
Playing a video game is not a sport it's a hobby fact anyone who thinks it is a sport is either on drugs or drunk or living in a non reality world and fantasy land.
I play halo Infinite at least few times a week mostly sticking to the ranked playlists. I personally haven't seen any blatant cheaters like the ones in this video. But I'm only in diamond maybe they're more prevalent in onyx.
Yeah they're mainly onyx because they climb so fast.
I seen a ton of videos of diamond players exposing wall hackers. The difference is you might not notice the wall hacker, or at least give them the benefit of the doubt. But these cheats.. lol you cant not notice these cheats. Online gaming is dying, if nothing is done online gaming will be mostly unplayable in anything outside of private custom servers. The issue is only getting worse by the month.

@@bilbonuggs1567there are hard cheaters on consoles now. Even if console gets split from pc, you will eventually still be overrun by cheaters. Its already happening to apex legends where cheaters are reported on console lobbies.

Love the game and play it basically daily!🎉 I play strictly local and very rarely see cheaters, but I've reported several aimbot users who play husky raid smh. Luckily they act fast and ban them in a couple of hours usually. Luckily they'll receive the ban even if they'd change their gamertag after the reporting, but obviously they'll just create a new account. Sad nolife basement dwellers.🤣

I have almost 9,000 games of infinite played and have only seen maybe 3 suspicious people.
Content creators ruined Halo infinite by crying about a non existent cheating problem.
