Number 4 is by far the best for my ears. Clear, but with body, nice separation and "clean" sound. Number 3 was nice, but the low mids sound too nasal and different in terms of color from the other registers to me. Number 2 has a strong character, but sounds muddy yet flat to me. Number 1 was good too, but I think number 4 is the most versatile and grown up instrument. In addition I think it's nice to see, that sometimes an easier system can perform better.
Great guitar shootout video! Thank you for making this--there isn't that much out their about double-top guitars. First time listening to this, I'm gonna say 1 and 2, with 1 being the preferred of the two. Nat that the others sound bad, of course. Were the top woods all the same species?

Nicely presented. #1 was a bit overbearing - less defined. I'd choose #2. The spruce tops would be too sharp/crisp for me to listen to all the time.
