This is the best video I've seen on Ba Na Hills with lots of info and detail. I loved that you guys stayed there overnight and you get the whole place to yourselves to explore after dark. I think Ba Na Hills should consider turning it into a scary theme park at night...that would be all sorts of awesome. LOL!

Wow so glad i found your channel! I was like.... another Ba Na Hills video.... But i loved it, best video of Ba Na Hills i have ever watched. didnt even know u could stay overnight there, watched so many youtubers going on day trips only, and complained about the price not worth it. I would definitely stay overnight just to enjoy the places with less ppl.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah really think you need to stay overnight to get the full experience! A day trip is to much rushing around. We went in January (quiet season) so it was cold and not busy but I think when you go in May it might be busier but less cold.

oh To Vietnam, you have to go to Fansipan-Sapa, Lao Cai province, Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh province and tourist attractions in the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh province (Thung Nham, Bai Dinh ...), those are the a place worth living (a Vietnamese person is speaking)

Got a question though. We will be staying in Mercure Ba Na Hills for a night and planned to take Grab to Ba Na Hills from Da Nang. Do you know which destination name I should put in order for the driver to drop me down at the hotel reception at the foot of the hill?

hello glad you enjoyed the video! Yeah I had a problem with that. I just put Ba Na hills and told the driver I need to be dropped off at the mercure hotel reception. The hotel reception is a 10 minute walk to Gondola. So if they do mess up you can walk it. How ever the hotel is super helpful! When you book with them, send them a message right away. I asked a lot of questions haha and they were quick to respond. I hope this helps & enjoy your holidays!

Hi! Thanks for the very informative and organized video. When you stayed at Mercure did you check in Day 1 and then check out the morning of Day 2 before visiting the Golden Hands bridge? Were they willing to hold your bags for you before you were done exploring the bridge and Sunworld? Thank you!
Yes, that's exactly what we did. We arrived at 11 a.m but check-in wasn't until 3 p.m so they took our luggage while we explored. Then when we checked out, they kept our luggage while we explored again the next day. They are super organised and many people are doing the same thing. 😅 Hope this helps and enjoy your time in Ba Na Hills!

Hello the tickets at reception includes everything we visited all attractions are free besides the wax museum.

Hi mate, huge thanks for this video. After searching for plenty of videos on UA-cam specific to Ba Na travelers who've stayed overnight at Mercure, yours was the most helpful.
But if I may, I have a couple of questions.
- we're travelling on 5th January and have booked Mercure to check in that day and checkout on 6th Jan. You reckon the golden hands bridge would be similarly cloudy and misty during that time - do you know a time in the day when one could get a clear picture of the bridge
- We'd initially allocated 2 days in all to Da Nang, Day 1 for Ba Na Hills. And day 2 was a guided tour to places Marble Mountain, lady Buddha, Hoa Nghiem cave, Dragon bridge and other sights. But I'm wondering if we checkout from Mercure on Day 2 at 12 noon, will we be able to do the rest of Da Nang in half a day.
- are there any activities in Sun World Ba Na that you feel we should not waste time on. We're a couple and have no kids.
- what was the reason why the alpine coaster was not in use when you were there. Was it because of the weather or did they give you any other reason
- Did you visit the wine cellar

- We travelled to Bana hills around January as well. It's considered winter so it will be chilly (bring a beanie!) and cloudy. It's really luck if the clouds move out the way. Definitely try go for early sunrise because you never know and we got lucky!.
- Yeah I think its a bit rushed but you could do it. When we checked out we didn't leave banahills until around 4pm because we wanted to see everything.
They can store your bags for you until you are ready to leave.
I would do danang on the 3rd day (add an extra day)
-Dont bother with the dinosaur museum haha and take time to visit the 3d cinema and flying eye theather.
-The alpine coaster was open but the line was huge in the afternoon I recommend going first thing in the morning when it opens to beat the crowd.
-Yes we did the wine celllar (its in the video) It takes like 5 minutes to walk through it was nothing special. Unless your into wine!

So this will have to wait for another vietnam trip. Meanwhile keep up the good work, will look for your travel tips to other destinations.

Hi , may I know ,did we need to exchange gondola at the middle station to reach to the tip or can right straight away to the tip ? How far away Mercure hotel from gondola stations?
Hello you need to change definitely to reach the top. How ever if you do stay with Mercure hotel they have there own private gondola system so that might go all the way to the top with out the need of changing. It wasn’t available for us at the time maybe because it was not peak season. Mercure hotel from the gondola is like a 5 minute walk from the top station. Hope this helps!
Did you two forgot to ride the alpine coaster down the mountain on Bana hills?
Unfortunately it was closed when we arrived then opened back up as we were leaving. Just our luck😅

Hello! Breakfast is included you just have to book a room with the breakfast included option. They had an awesome buffet dinner too. I'm pretty sure you can pre book that but if not you can just pay for it on the spot or when you first arrive just pre book it at check in. Hope this helps and enjoy your stay in Ba Na Hills!

Hi, enjoyed the video clip of Ba Na Hills. I have been there in April 2018 and it's a wonderful magical place to visit. I'm curious and wish to know how much it cost that night at the Mercure Hotel and what was included besides bed and breakfast and entrance tickets with the cable car to reach the hotel. I had lunch in this hotel and looked so luxurious. I want to revisit Vietnam again and would like to go to this place and staying a night there, i would think it is a good idea the way you planned it.
Thanks for watching! It was about 120 US for the night but that was on the cheaper end because we went in January a quieter season. Also this doesn't include the ticket up to the hills. Definitely staying a night is worth it so you don't have to rush around in one day.

Yes you still need to buy a cable car ticket its practically your entry ticket because everything else is included (minus the games that involve winning a prize.) After 9pm there is that small bar section and sometimes they have special events. I would check their website.

I'm not sure. I know drones are illegal without a permit but I see so many people flying drones all the time around Vietnam haha.

Hello, it's through out the day but they have signs posted everywhere about when a show is starting and you can ask the staff there who are also just everywhere haha.
Hi I have a few questions as I have the same plan as you staying a night in Bana Hills.
1. If I purchased the cable car ticket online, and the date is the 1st day, it can be used the 2nd day to get down from the hills?
2. Entry ticket you purchased online together with cable car or you brought it separated in the hotel?

Hello, the ticket is a one off purchase. Once you in bana hills you can stay as long as you want. If your staying with the hotel as you check in at the bottom reception they will sort your ticket out on the spot and you will pay through them which is a lot easier and faster.
With this ticket you can go as many times from the top section back to the middle station but you can't go back to the bottom station because that means your leaving and you would have to buy another ticket back up.

Hey so the hotel organises the tickets for you instead of purchasing it at the ticket counter you buy them directly from the hotel reception. It's a seperate price to the hotel. Once you check in, they will drive you to the entrance of the first gondola where they will check your ticket, which is still at the bottom and not in the middle.

Hello we were in Bana hills in January which is considered winter but we got lucky with the weather it didn't rain really at all. Just be careful if you do go during winter time it might get rained out.

hello we didn't book through agoda we just stayed there overnight at the only hotel there. If you book through the hotel they will organise your ticket for bana hills. I hope this makes sense if you have any questions let me know :)
To get the best service at famous tourist spots in Vietnam, you should not go on the occasion of April 30 every year (it's a big holiday in our country, people have about 3-5 days off depending on the time of year). by year and many people also travel on this occasion)

Hello the hotel is called mercure danang bana hills (I added there website link in my description box) and you don't have to pay extra at all! As long as you stay overnight. Just have to get up early haha. Hope this helps 😄

Hello no you still have to pay for a one off entry fee to theme park but yeah once your in everything is for free besides the carnival games where you can win a toy but to be honest they make it really easy to win 😅

Hello It depends what time of year you are going. We went in January so it was still wet season but we got lucky that morning. If you can stay overnight and visit the bridge in the morning 6:30am because its hotel guest only so there will be less crowds. If you do go soon I think it's summer season coming up so maybe you won't have to worry about fog. Hope this helps!

I went to the website to buy tickets and I found out that there are no tickets for foreigners in the options. The ticket I saw was for Out-of-province guests. Do you think that includes us foreigners? 😅 It's worth 900k VND. Entrance only.

Tickets of foreigners are equal to tickets of other provinces in Vietnam. Tickets for Da Nang people are cheaper
Applicable to guests from outside the province (and other countries) from April 1, 2023
Adult ticket: 900,000 VND/person (=38.4 usd)
Child ticket, height from 1m - 1m4: 750,000 VND/person
Children under 1m are free of charge

My wife and I went there today with our 2 kids. Honestly, it was a massive disappointment. Neither of us are social media fiends, so the photo ops are meaningless to us. It was a massive place full of empty buildings. Waste of a day really.
