This is the best video I've seen on Ba Na Hills with lots of info and detail. I loved that you guys stayed there overnight and you get the whole place to yourselves to explore after dark. I think Ba Na Hills should consider turning it into a scary theme park at night...that would be all sorts of awesome. LOL!
Thank you for making this video!🙂 This is exactly the kind of video I was looking for about Ba Na hills. Very informative regarding the tickets and the hotel.
i'll be visiting danang next month and wasnt so keen on visiting bana. but now that i've watched your videos, i can't wait to go there! thank you for the video!
oh To Vietnam, you have to go to Fansipan-Sapa, Lao Cai province, Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh province and tourist attractions in the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh province (Thung Nham, Bai Dinh ...), those are the a place worth living (a Vietnamese person is speaking)
Wow so glad i found your channel! I was like.... another Ba Na Hills video.... But i loved it, best video of Ba Na Hills i have ever watched. didnt even know u could stay overnight there, watched so many youtubers going on day trips only, and complained about the price not worth it. I would definitely stay overnight just to enjoy the places with less ppl. U changed my mind, i will be in Da Nang in May, going to book 1 night up the right now! Ty so much! Will check all your Vietnam videos, this was a great watch! Nice filming, no shakyness and good audio, LOVED IT! Keep up the good work
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah really think you need to stay overnight to get the full experience! A day trip is to much rushing around. We went in January (quiet season) so it was cold and not busy but I think when you go in May it might be busier but less cold.
Hi, enjoyed the video clip of Ba Na Hills. I have been there in April 2018 and it's a wonderful magical place to visit. I'm curious and wish to know how much it cost that night at the Mercure Hotel and what was included besides bed and breakfast and entrance tickets with the cable car to reach the hotel. I had lunch in this hotel and looked so luxurious. I want to revisit Vietnam again and would like to go to this place and staying a night there, i would think it is a good idea the way you planned it.
Thanks for watching! It was about 120 US for the night but that was on the cheaper end because we went in January a quieter season. Also this doesn't include the ticket up to the hills. Definitely staying a night is worth it so you don't have to rush around in one day.
Hi mate, huge thanks for this video. After searching for plenty of videos on UA-cam specific to Ba Na travelers who've stayed overnight at Mercure, yours was the most helpful. But if I may, I have a couple of questions. - we're travelling on 5th January and have booked Mercure to check in that day and checkout on 6th Jan. You reckon the golden hands bridge would be similarly cloudy and misty during that time - do you know a time in the day when one could get a clear picture of the bridge - We'd initially allocated 2 days in all to Da Nang, Day 1 for Ba Na Hills. And day 2 was a guided tour to places Marble Mountain, lady Buddha, Hoa Nghiem cave, Dragon bridge and other sights. But I'm wondering if we checkout from Mercure on Day 2 at 12 noon, will we be able to do the rest of Da Nang in half a day. - are there any activities in Sun World Ba Na that you feel we should not waste time on. We're a couple and have no kids. - what was the reason why the alpine coaster was not in use when you were there. Was it because of the weather or did they give you any other reason - Did you visit the wine cellar Thanks again, look forward to your insight
Hey thanks for the nice comments! - We travelled to Bana hills around January as well. It's considered winter so it will be chilly (bring a beanie!) and cloudy. It's really luck if the clouds move out the way. Definitely try go for early sunrise because you never know and we got lucky!. - Yeah I think its a bit rushed but you could do it. When we checked out we didn't leave banahills until around 4pm because we wanted to see everything. They can store your bags for you until you are ready to leave. I would do danang on the 3rd day (add an extra day) -Dont bother with the dinosaur museum haha and take time to visit the 3d cinema and flying eye theather. -The alpine coaster was open but the line was huge in the afternoon I recommend going first thing in the morning when it opens to beat the crowd. -Yes we did the wine celllar (its in the video) It takes like 5 minutes to walk through it was nothing special. Unless your into wine! Hope this helps if you have any questions feel free to message me!
@@LetsTravel-MF - thanks buddy. Unfortunately had to cancel our bookings at Ba Na hills. It was raining quite a bit those days and very cloudy. A friend who visited the previous day shared photos. So this will have to wait for another vietnam trip. Meanwhile keep up the good work, will look for your travel tips to other destinations.
Hi, really like your videos, thanks for sharing. Which hotel did you stay in? I believe there are seven (7) do you get a choice? did you have to pay for the upgrade? Thanks again
Hello! Thank you for your kind comment. We stayed at the Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills, which is the only official hotel located at the top of Bana Hills. Any other accommodations in the area are not actually part of Bana Hills. We didn't have to pay for the upgrade because the room we were initially given didn't match the pictures shown during our booking on Booking.com. When we brought this up at the reception and showed them the pictures, they immediately upgraded us to a better room.
@@LetsTravel-MF Hi thanks for your reply. I understand what you say about Mercure Hotels being the only one in Ba Na hills, but as I understand it there are seven hotels on site, Hotel De Strasbourg, Hotel De Nice, Hotel De Toulouse, Hotel De Lyon, Hotel De Bordeaux, Hotel De Paris & Hotel De Marseille. All run by Mercure. When I made my booking there with Agoda, I asked if I could choose which hotel to stay in, but they advised that it will be assigned on the day before our arrival. I was just wondering which you were in to get an idea of what to expect, we have booked two standard rooms with mountain view. Have enjoyed a lot of your videos and they were especially helpful when we traveled to Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur & George Town.
@@PhillipBrookes-t2h The standard room was the first room we got in the video. Its okay its a bit small but if your not spending time in there then its good enough to sleep. However the deluxe king room (the one we booked) is only a couple dollars extra and its way better with space. Make sure to book breakfast at the hotel because there isnt much options for breakfast in the morning except a bakery which is really nice.
Finally a more illustrated video about BaNa Hill! Thanks for sharing the info. Was wondering how i should plan mine next week and Here it is!! 💁🏻♂️💁🏻♀️ Btw how many days in total is best to visit Danang as im on a budget trip? 🤔
Hello, it's through out the day but they have signs posted everywhere about when a show is starting and you can ask the staff there who are also just everywhere haha.
Hi I have a few questions as I have the same plan as you staying a night in Bana Hills. 1. If I purchased the cable car ticket online, and the date is the 1st day, it can be used the 2nd day to get down from the hills? 2. Entry ticket you purchased online together with cable car or you brought it separated in the hotel? Really appreciate if you can clear my doubts. Thank you!
Hello, the ticket is a one off purchase. Once you in bana hills you can stay as long as you want. If your staying with the hotel as you check in at the bottom reception they will sort your ticket out on the spot and you will pay through them which is a lot easier and faster. With this ticket you can go as many times from the top section back to the middle station but you can't go back to the bottom station because that means your leaving and you would have to buy another ticket back up.
Hi there, great video and informative! We hope we ll get lucky with the golden hands bridge view as well. One question, since you guys are there for 2days, do you need to purchase a second day ticket for the park?
Thank you for the kind words! I hope you get to enjoy the golden hands bridge view-it’s stunning! As for the tickets, yes, if you plan to explore the park thoroughly over two days, you will need to purchase a second-day ticket. It’s definitely worth it for all the beautiful sights! Enjoy your trip!
Hi there. Thanks for making such an informative and extensive video on Ba Na Hills. Love it. Going to visit it with my fiancee in September. Got a question though. We will be staying in Mercure Ba Na Hills for a night and planned to take Grab to Ba Na Hills from Da Nang. Do you know which destination name I should put in order for the driver to drop me down at the hotel reception at the foot of the hill? Would appreciate if you can give some insight on this. Thanks.
hello glad you enjoyed the video! Yeah I had a problem with that. I just put Ba Na hills and told the driver I need to be dropped off at the mercure hotel reception. The hotel reception is a 10 minute walk to Gondola. So if they do mess up you can walk it. How ever the hotel is super helpful! When you book with them, send them a message right away. I asked a lot of questions haha and they were quick to respond. I hope this helps & enjoy your holidays!
If the check in is 2pm, do they allow early arrival there. Like 10 am and just leave the luggage somewhere at the lobby so you can explore the place as early as possible?
Hello it's called PĀMA Boutique Hotel. It just opened this year so it has that brand new feel. I actually have a mini review of it in my 2 days in danang video as well if you want to see more of it. Hope this helps! :)
Hi! Thanks for the very informative and organized video. When you stayed at Mercure did you check in Day 1 and then check out the morning of Day 2 before visiting the Golden Hands bridge? Were they willing to hold your bags for you before you were done exploring the bridge and Sunworld? Thank you!
Yes, that's exactly what we did. We arrived at 11 a.m but check-in wasn't until 3 p.m so they took our luggage while we explored. Then when we checked out, they kept our luggage while we explored again the next day. They are super organised and many people are doing the same thing. 😅 Hope this helps and enjoy your time in Ba Na Hills!
Hey, liked your video! Could you please tell me, do the tickets that you got from the reception include everything that you visited at Bana Hills? Or it charges separately?
Great video! very informative. May I know what date were you on Bana Hills? We will be in Danang on November 29th and I'm wondering if the weather would be the same! Thanks in advance
Hello! We were there in late January. However im pretty sure when you are going is considered the start of winter so it more than likely be the same cold weather. But keep in mind it could rain! we just got lucky in didnt when we where there.
what month were you guys here? im going in November and also staying at Mercure hotel overnight (sorry if you mentioned the answer =later in the video im at the beginning and trying to gauge the weather lol)
November is just before winter! So it should be good weather with clear skies. However it could get chilly over night so I would bring some light jackets and a beanie! hope this helps
No its a one off payment once your in and you stay over night the cable cars are free as long as you done go all the way to the bottom because that means your technically leaving Ba Na Hills.
For a ride from Da Nang to Ba Na Hills using the Grab app, you can enter "Ba Na Hills" or "Ba Na Hills Resort." That should help you get the right destination. Enjoy your trip!
Hello I booked the hotel first through booking.com and then they sent me a message saying that when I arrive they will organise it for me. So i payed for the ticket at the hotel reception (it was a little bit cheaper too I guess because we were staying over night). Hope this helps!
Hi there from the US, Wonder if there's an option to buy their dinner buffet along with the hotel stay? If I'm not mistaken, breakfast is included? Tnx so much for your reply
Hello! Breakfast is included you just have to book a room with the breakfast included option. They had an awesome buffet dinner too. I'm pretty sure you can pre book that but if not you can just pay for it on the spot or when you first arrive just pre book it at check in. Hope this helps and enjoy your stay in Ba Na Hills!
Hello we were in Bana hills in January which is considered winter but we got lucky with the weather it didn't rain really at all. Just be careful if you do go during winter time it might get rained out.
IF EVERYONE WANT TO EXPERIENCED ALL OF BA NA HILL , I THINK TO NEED THREE DAYS THEN EVERYONE FELT THIS PLACE IS REALLY BEAUTIFUL AND LARGE , INIQUE AND WONDERFUL...I THINK SO.
Hi , may I know ,did we need to exchange gondola at the middle station to reach to the tip or can right straight away to the tip ? How far away Mercure hotel from gondola stations?
Hello you need to change definitely to reach the top. How ever if you do stay with Mercure hotel they have there own private gondola system so that might go all the way to the top with out the need of changing. It wasn’t available for us at the time maybe because it was not peak season. Mercure hotel from the gondola is like a 5 minute walk from the top station. Hope this helps!
Yes you still need to buy a cable car ticket its practically your entry ticket because everything else is included (minus the games that involve winning a prize.) After 9pm there is that small bar section and sometimes they have special events. I would check their website.
You said in video that tickets were includes in Hotel price? Or you purchased it separately? Also where the tickets are checked? Gandola/cable car or middle level where the bridge is?
Hey so the hotel organises the tickets for you instead of purchasing it at the ticket counter you buy them directly from the hotel reception. It's a seperate price to the hotel. Once you check in, they will drive you to the entrance of the first gondola where they will check your ticket, which is still at the bottom and not in the middle.
@@JatinSapra88 It was about 100 us for the night but that was in January (Winter was very cold!) but the prices might be more during summer. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching
hello we didn't book through agoda we just stayed there overnight at the only hotel there. If you book through the hotel they will organise your ticket for bana hills. I hope this makes sense if you have any questions let me know :)
To get the best service at famous tourist spots in Vietnam, you should not go on the occasion of April 30 every year (it's a big holiday in our country, people have about 3-5 days off depending on the time of year). by year and many people also travel on this occasion)
I went to the website to buy tickets and I found out that there are no tickets for foreigners in the options. The ticket I saw was for Out-of-province guests. Do you think that includes us foreigners? 😅 It's worth 900k VND. Entrance only.
Applicable to guests from outside the province (and other countries) from April 1, 2023 Adult ticket: 900,000 VND/person (=38.4 usd) Child ticket, height from 1m - 1m4: 750,000 VND/person Children under 1m are free of charge
Hello no you still have to pay for a one off entry fee to theme park but yeah once your in everything is for free besides the carnival games where you can win a toy but to be honest they make it really easy to win 😅
Hello the hotel is called mercure danang bana hills (I added there website link in my description box) and you don't have to pay extra at all! As long as you stay overnight. Just have to get up early haha. Hope this helps 😄
Hi sir.. What a nice video. Totally the one i need before i go. 😍 Actually what time does the you two visit the Hand Of God Bridge that day? Should i go a bit late so that the fog is cleared? Any suggestion?
Hello It depends what time of year you are going. We went in January so it was still wet season but we got lucky that morning. If you can stay overnight and visit the bridge in the morning 6:30am because its hotel guest only so there will be less crowds. If you do go soon I think it's summer season coming up so maybe you won't have to worry about fog. Hope this helps!
It was really peaceful but I thought I saw some shadow figure in the forest area as we were walking back to our hotel. I wish I filmed it haha! Thanks for watching 😃
@@minhha6867 Vietnamese people scare so easily as they were told scary ghost stories and even as grown-ups still believe in scary stuff like that. Most Westerners aren't raised that way.
My wife and I went there today with our 2 kids. Honestly, it was a massive disappointment. Neither of us are social media fiends, so the photo ops are meaningless to us. It was a massive place full of empty buildings. Waste of a day really.
I understand that it's not for everyone, and it might not be the best experience for kids. We enjoy tourist activities, and if you go during the day, it can get really crowded. However, if you stay overnight and get on brdge at 5am, it's a beautiful experience and definitely worth it! Did you get a chance to visit the house with all the free games for kids?

- are there any activities in Sun World Ba Na that you feel we should not waste time on. We're a couple and have no kids.
- what was the reason why the alpine coaster was not in use when you were there. Was it because of the weather or did they give you any other reason
- Did you visit the wine cellar
Thanks again, look forward to your insight

what month were you guys here? im going in November and also staying at Mercure hotel overnight (sorry if you mentioned the answer =later in the video im at the beginning and trying to gauge the weather lol)
November is just before winter! So it should be good weather with clear skies. However it could get chilly over night so I would bring some light jackets and a beanie! hope this helps
did you ahve to pay for the cable car again in the morning to get to the bridge at early morning
No its a one off payment once your in and you stay over night the cable cars are free as long as you done go all the way to the bottom because that means your technically leaving Ba Na Hills.
Which month did you go? Thank you
January
Hi.
Can i check what is the Destination name you type into Grab app when you book from Da Nang?
For a ride from Da Nang to Ba Na Hills using the Grab app, you can enter "Ba Na Hills" or "Ba Na Hills Resort." That should help you get the right destination. Enjoy your trip!
Hi! did you purchase separate tickets to Bana Hills on top of the cost of the hotel?
Hello I booked the hotel first through booking.com and then they sent me a message saying that when I arrive they will organise it for me. So i payed for the ticket at the hotel reception (it was a little bit cheaper too I guess because we were staying over night). Hope this helps!
Hi there from the US,
Wonder if there's an option to buy their dinner buffet along with the hotel stay? If I'm not mistaken, breakfast is included?
Tnx so much for your reply
Hello! Breakfast is included you just have to book a room with the breakfast included option. They had an awesome buffet dinner too. I'm pretty sure you can pre book that but if not you can just pay for it on the spot or when you first arrive just pre book it at check in. Hope this helps and enjoy your stay in Ba Na Hills!
What was the name of the property you stayed in ?
Mình cũng muốn đi du lịch như bạn nhưng hoàn cảnh nhà mình nghèo quá, mình chỉ đi du lịch qua màn ảnh thôi
Cố gắng đi học và đi làm, dành dụm dần dần rồi sẽ đạt được mong ước thôi em. Chúc may mắn
Hello , may I know which month did you guys travel to danang / bana hills? And also do suggest which one will be the best between 18 August or 20 sept
We went in Janury and was really nice :)
I really liked the Foggy waether. Which month is it ?
We went in January. Around Vietnamese new year which was great because they decorate the place up!
it looks fantastic. may i know which month of this visit ?
Hello we were in Bana hills in January which is considered winter but we got lucky with the weather it didn't rain really at all. Just be careful if you do go during winter time it might get rained out.
loved the video...can i fly drone there in morning?
I'm not sure. I know drones are illegal without a permit but I see so many people flying drones all the time around Vietnam haha.
Hi.. may i know what month did you go to bana hills?.. it looked very cold. Is in on February?..thx
Hello we went in January.
Great content, can i ask if hotel guests still need to pay for cable car or any of the attractions? anything to do past 9pm?
Yes you still need to buy a cable car ticket its practically your entry ticket because everything else is included (minus the games that involve winning a prize.) After 9pm there is that small bar section and sometimes they have special events. I would check their website.
thank you really appreciate it!@@LetsTravel-MF
You said in video that tickets were includes in Hotel price? Or you purchased it separately? Also where the tickets are checked? Gandola/cable car or middle level where the bridge is?
Hey so the hotel organises the tickets for you instead of purchasing it at the ticket counter you buy them directly from the hotel reception. It's a seperate price to the hotel. Once you check in, they will drive you to the entrance of the first gondola where they will check your ticket, which is still at the bottom and not in the middle.
@@LetsTravel-MF thanks for prompt reply. Really appreciate it. You remember the cost charged by the hotel?
@@JatinSapra88 It was about 100 us for the night but that was in January (Winter was very cold!) but the prices might be more during summer. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching
Hi which month have you been there to get so much cold and fog?
hello we visited around mid January.
Did you book this Ba Na hills tour thru agoda too? Or the hotel helped you with the service?
hello we didn't book through agoda we just stayed there overnight at the only hotel there.
How much was the bana hill package price? From hanoi which air did you take?
Hello we flew from Malaysia. The price for everything is at the end of the video including tickets, hotel etc.. Hope this helps :D
I went to the website to buy tickets and I found out that there are no tickets for foreigners in the options. The ticket I saw was for Out-of-province guests. Do you think that includes us foreigners? 😅 It's worth 900k VND. Entrance only.
I'm not sure sorry. Are you staying the night?
@@LetsTravel-MF Nope! Just a day trip. It's okay! I'll ask them through email. I hope they will respond.
Tickets of foreigners are equal to tickets of other provinces in Vietnam. Tickets for Da Nang people are cheaper
Applicable to guests from outside the province (and other countries) from April 1, 2023
Adult ticket: 900,000 VND/person (=38.4 usd)
Child ticket, height from 1m - 1m4: 750,000 VND/person
Children under 1m are free of charge
Hi, the theme park is free for the guests hotel?
Hello no you still have to pay for a one off entry fee to theme park but yeah once your in everything is for free besides the carnival games where you can win a toy but to be honest they make it really easy to win 😅
Hello! How far is the airport from Bana Hills? Thank you in advance
$104 is that 2 nights in hotel?
Hello! From the Airport I'd say about an hour and the price is for one night. Thanks for watching :)
Chào mừng đến việt nam❤
Thank you!
Hallo may i know what month its ??looks cold
Hello we went in late January. It was very cold!
What is the hotel name ? and do you have to pay an extra to get to the golden brige early? Thank you sooooo much 😊
Hello the hotel is called mercure danang bana hills (I added there website link in my description box) and you don't have to pay extra at all! As long as you stay overnight. Just have to get up early haha. Hope this helps 😄
@@LetsTravel-MF thank you soooo much!
what's the fare grab from da nang to ba na?
just 10-30$
28:52 is the price list about everything :)
What month did you get there?
hello we got there in January
How much did it cost to go to Bana hills?
At the end of the video is the full price list of everything.
@@LetsTravel-MF okay sir. We are going on this November. Hopefully there's not much fog..
I hope you get lucky and have no fog. I think november is rainy season. Enjoy your time! 😄
Ba na hill is so emty at night time, are you guys scared of the ghost!!!
It was really peaceful but I thought I saw some shadow figure in the forest area as we were walking back to our hotel. I wish I filmed it haha! Thanks for watching 😃
@@LetsTravel-MF 😂😂
You make me scared now.
