In 1937, Sarosi outdid himself again when he put 7 past Czechoslovakia who had the great Planicka in goal(a player for another day). Mind you, this was no friendly. The same game that earned him a rating of -1(to put things into perspective, earlier ratings used to be given on a scale of 1-5. 5 being the worst and 1 being the best. Yes, the man broke the scale and transcended to a whole new level.) Sarosi had an incredible prime from age 22-26 in 1934-38 for Hungary where he made the transition to a forward player & scored 37 goals in 29 internationals. Including scoring in all 4 games of the 1938 world cup where he captained Hungary all the way to the final against Italy.
